조망적 사회기술훈련 프로그램이 조현병병 환자의 사회성에 미치는 효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 조망적 사회기술훈련이 조현병 환자의 사회기술과 마음추론능력 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 정신병원에 입원하고 있는 조현병 환자 중 알콜문제와 정신지체, 성격장애 등 공존질환이 없는 환자들을 실험집단 17명, 통제집단 17명으로 배정하고 매주 1회씩 60분간 13주에 걸쳐 조망적 사회기술훈련을 실시한 후 두 집단 간의 사회기술척도와 마음이론과제를 적용하여 사회성과 마음이론 향상효과를 비교하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조망적 사회기술훈련이 조현병 환자의 경청하기, 말하기, 듣기, 거절하기, 도움구하기 등 사회적 기술을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조망적 사회기술훈련을 받은 조현병 환자들은 만화와 같은 비언어적 매체를 활용한 과제에서 타인에 대한 이해와 의도추론, 정서추론과 같은 비언어적 마음이론을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조망적 사회기술훈련 프로그램에 참여한 조현병 환자들은 언어적 과제인 틀린 믿음 이야기와 숨은 의도 이야기과제에서 타인의 관점과 의도, 정서추론과 같은 마음이론을 언어적으로 파악하고 조망하는 능력이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 조망적 사회기술훈련은 조현병 환자의 사회적 기술과 언어적, 비언어적 마음이론을 향상시켰지만 향상의 정도는 크지 않았다. 이는 일상생활에서 보다 잘 적응하기 위해서는 장기간의 지속적인 훈련이 필요함을 의미하는 것일 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과가 의미하는 시사점과 추후 연구를 위한 제언들을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of perspective-oriented social skill training on improvement of social competence for schizophrenic patients. For this study, thirty four schizophrenic patients(experimental and control group, seventeen patients for each group) who haven’t problems with alcohol dependancy, mental retardation, and personality disorders were chosen, and perspective-oriented social skill training were executed once a week during 13weeks(per session for sixty minutes). The results of the study were as follows: First, the perspective-oriented social skill training improved the verbal and nonverbal social skills of the schizophrenic patients. Second, the perspective-oriented social skill training improved the nonverbal mind theory of the schizophrenic patients. Third, the perspective-oriented social skill training is effective to improve the verbal mind theory of schizophrenic patients. It means that this training could be a useful program to improve the verbal and nonverbal mind theory of the schizophrenic patients. Fourth, the perspective-oriented social skill training for the schizophrenic patients improved the social skills, verbal and nonverbal mind theory of them, but their social skill ability were not well functioning for daily social situations. These results imply that the higher perspective-oriented social skill training is needed for the appropriate social roles in the daily life.
