정(情)과 용서의 관계에 대한 공감의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국인의 정(情)과 용서 간의 관계에 있어서 공감의 조절효과를 살펴보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 201명의 대학생을 대상으로 정척도, 용서특질척도(FTS), 한국판 균형정서공감척도(K-BEES)를 실시하여 정, 용서, 공감과 관련한 자료를 수집하였으며 구조방정식 모형을 통해 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 정은 용서 및 공감과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를, 공감 역시 용서와 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 정이라는 예측 변수와 용서라는 결과 변수 사이에 공감이라는 조절 변수를 가정한 모형을 검증한 결과, 본 연구의 모형은 전반적으로 적합했으며 공감은 정이 용서에 미치는 영향의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타냈다. 마지막으로 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 통해 심리사회적 재활 서비스에 대한 함의, 추후연구를 위한 제언 및 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the moderating effects of empathy on the relationship between Korean ethnic sentiments, cheong(情) and forgiveness. Cheong, forgiveness and empathy related data was collected from a pool of 201 undergraduate students who completed Cheong scale, Forgiveness Trait Scale(FTS) and Korean-Balanced Emotional Empathy Scale(K-BEES), and were analysed using structural equation modeling(SEM) of moderation. The results indicated that the Korean’s cheong significantly and positively related to forgiveness and empathy. Empathy also significantly and positively related to forgiveness. Subsequently, this study examined a hypothesis model that cheong is predictor variable, forgiveness is outcome variable, and empathy is moderator. The model for this study was entirely verified model fit by CMIN/DF, IFI, TLI, CFI and RMSEA. Further, empathy turned out to have a positive moderating effect on the relationship between cheong and forgiveness. Finally, the implications for psychosocial rehabilitation services, suggestions for future study and several limitations of this study were discussed.
