국문 초록

본 연구는 과학교과의 본성에 맞춘 수업과 평가가 올바르게 편성 전개되는지를 살펴보고자 첫째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정과 공통교육과정의 과학과의 성격을 분석하고, 둘째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 과학과의 학년군별 교과내용을 분석하며, 셋째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 과학과의 교육과정-수업-평가 일체화를 분석하였다. 연구방법은 2015 기본교육과정 과학과 3, 4학년군과 5, 6학년군의 교과를 교-수-평 일체화를 구조적으로 살펴보기 위해 이형빈(2015)의 분석틀을 차용하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정과 공통교육과정 과학과의 성격은 유사하다. 둘째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 과학과 3, 4학년군과 5, 6학년군의 교과 내용선정 기준이 모호하여 중복과 발전의 연계성이 부족하다. 셋째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 과학과의 교-수-평 일체화는 3, 4학년군과 5, 6학년군별 내용선정 및 수업에서의 교수-학습 모형 적용면에서 중복과 발전의 차별적이거나 위계적인 차이를 보이지 않으나 단위시간별로 교-수-평 일체화의 형식을 지니고 있다.

영문 초록

This study is built on the three following objectives to examine the quality of science education. First, this study investigates the nature of the 2015 revised basic and science curriculums. Second, this study analyzes the content of the 2015 revised science curriculum. Third, this study examines the extent of the class-assessment alignment between the 2015 revised basic and science curriculums. This study employs the analytic framework suggested by Lee (2015) to systematically investigate the curriculum-instruction-evaluation alignment in the science education for third- and fourth-grade group and fifth- and sixth-grade group. First, the nature of 2015 revised basic and science curriculums are homogeneous. Second, the selection criteria for the curriculum content for the third- and fourth-grade group and the fifth- and sixth-grade group are ambiguous. This ambiguity leads to a lack of connection between redundancy and development. Third, there is little difference between the third- and fourth-grade group and the fifth-and sixth-grade group in content selection and class model application. Therefore, the hierarchical structure of class-assessment is not likely to accommodate the nature of science education. Meanwhile, the curriculum by unit time might achieve curriculum-instruction-evaluation alignment.
