마이스터고 졸업생의 산업현장 적응에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 마이스터고 졸업생들의 산업현장 적응 과정에서 겪는 어려움, 이를 극복하기 위한 스스로의 노력과 기업의 지원, 적응에 도움이 된 학교교육, 개선이 요구되는 학교교육 등을 구명하는데 있었다. 이를 위하여 질적연구방법 중 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하였으며, 마이스터고 졸업생 10명과 2014년 2월 9일부터 3월 10일까지 면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과 37개의 주제(themes)로 정리하였으며, 이를 총 5개 영역(산업현장 적응의 어려움, 산업현장 적응을 위한 학생 스스로의 노력, 현장 적응을 위한 기업의 지원, 현장 적응에 도움을 준 학교교육, 현장 적응을 위해 개선이 요구되는 학교교육)의 16개 주제 묶음(theme cluster)으로 범주화하였다. 연구결과를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 마이스터고 졸업생들은 산업현장 적응에 어려움을 겪으며, 심리적 부담과 불안을 느낀다. 둘째, 마이스터고 졸업생들은 산업현장에 적응하기 위하여 스스로 적극적으로 노력하고 있으며, 자신의 능력 향상을 위해 직무 관련 자격증 취득이나 계속교육에 대한 계획을 가지고 있다. 셋째, 기업은 마이스터고 졸업생들의 산업현장 적응을 돕기 위하여 OJT, 선임의 지원, 가족적인 조직 문화 조성 등 다양한 지원을 하고 있다. 넷째, 학교교육의 현장 친화적 교육내용, 다양한 교육방법의 적용, 교사들의 산업현장에 대한 정보 제공 등의 전문교과 교육이 현장 적응에 도움이 된다. 또한, 다양한 보통교과 교육도 현장 적응에 간접적으로 도움이 되며, 기숙사 생활, 해외체험학습 등 교과지도외 교육도 현장 적응에 도움이 된다. 다섯째, 학교교육 중 교육과정, 직업기초능력 함양 교육, 진로지도, 방과후 수업 운영, 체험활동 등에서 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analysis adaptation to workplace of meister high school graduates using phenomenological research method. The interview for the research was carried out with 10 meister high school graduates from February 9 to March 10, 2014. According to the result of the research, 37 themes were extracted from interviews with 10 research participants. And 16 theme clusters were categorized from these. And these clusters were divided into 5 domains : difficulties in adaptation to workplace of meister high school graduates, their effort for adaptation to workplace, industries support for adaptation to workplace, school education to help adaptation to workplace, school education that need improvement for adaptation to workplace. Based on the finding of the study, major conclusions of this study were as follow: First, meister high school graduates experience difficulties in the process of adaptation. And they feel psychological burden and anxiety. Second, they make an effort aggressively to overcome difficulties. And they have plans to improve their competencies. Third, industries give various supports for adaptation of meister high school graduates. For example on the job training (OJT), support of senior members, making up familial organizational culture. Forth, major subject education of school helps adaptation of meister high school graduates (Such as industrial practice oriented educational contents, various teaching method, information about industrial practice by teachers). And various liberal arts courses of school help adaptation of them indirectly. Living in a dormitory and overseas experience programs helps their adaptation. Fifth, some elements in school education need to be improved for adaptation to workplace of meister high school graduates. There are curriculum, education for cultivating key competency, career guidance, running after school programs, experience programs.
