국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 북한 소학교 3학년 자연 교과서에서 에너지 단원을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 북한 2013 제1차 전반적 12년제 의무교육강령에 의해 개발된 소학교 3학년 자연 교과서이다. 북한 소학교 3학년 자연의 에너지 단원은 남한의 2015개정에 따른 3~4학년군 에너지 관련 단원과 비교․분석되었다. 북한 교과서의 분석은 단원별로 교육 내용 밀도, 삽화 유형과 기능, 탐구활동 유형과 수준을 중심으로 이루어졌다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남북한 초등학교 에너지 관련 내용은 학년에 따라 교육 내용의 범위와 수준에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 북한 소학교 3학년 자연 교과서에서 물리 영역의 비중이 다른 영역에 비해 높았다. 셋째, 남한 초등학교 에너지 단원의 교육 내용 밀도가 북한보다 더 높았다. 넷째, 남한 교과서의 삽화는 사진 유형의 의존도가 높았고, 북한은 그림 유형의 의존도가 높았다. 다섯째, 남북한 모두 삽화의 예시적 기능에 대한 의존도가 높았고, 남한은 북한에 비해 삽화의 설명적, 보충적 기능을 더 많이 사용하였다. 여섯째, 삽화의 학습적 기능에서 남북한 모두 활동 안내 기능의 의존도가 높았다. 일곱째, 남한이 북한보다 탐구 활동의 수가 더 많았고, 남북한 모두 학습 내용에 따라 탐구 수준이 달랐다. 여덟째, 남한의 탐구 활동의 유형은 북한에 비해 더 다양했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the energy-related units of science textbook in the third grade of North Korea Primary School. The subject of the study is a science textbook developed by North Korea s first universal 12-year compulsory education program in 2013. The energy units of North Korea textbook were compared and analyzed with the energy related units of the 3rd and 4th grade textbooks according to the revision of 2015. Analysis of North Korea textbook focused on education content density, types and functions of illustrations, types and levels of inquiry activities each unit. The results of the study are as follows. First, the energy contents’ scope and level of South and North Korea primary schools differed depending on the grade. Second, science textbook for the third grade of North Korea elementary school showed a higher proportion of physical fields compared to the others. Third, the density of energy content of South Korea elementary school was higher than that of North Korea. Fourth, illustrations in South Korea textbooks were highly dependent on photography and North Korea was highly dependent on painting. Fifth, both South and North Korea were heavily dependent on exemplary function, and South Korea used more descriptive and complementary functions of illustration than North Korea. Sixth, both Koreas were highly dependent on the activity guidance function in the learning function of illustrations. Seventh, South Korea had more exploratory activities than North Korea, and both Koreas had different levels of Inquiry to depend on their learning contents. Eighth, the types of South Korea Inquiry activities were more diverse than North Korea.
