국문 초록

이 연구에서는 초등학생들의 식물친숙도와 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도에 대해 초등학생들의 성별로 알아보고, 초등학생들의 식물친숙도와 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도와의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이 연구를 통해서 내린 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 식물친숙도는 초등학교 남학생과 여학생의 차이가 없었다. 그리고 식물친숙도 하위 영역인 인지적, 정의적, 심체적 영역에서 모두 남학생과 여학생의 차이가 유의하지 않았다. 초등학생들의 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도는 성별로 차이가 없었다. 그리고 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도의 2개 하위 영역인 인식과 태도 모두에서 남학생과 여학생의 차이가 유의하지 않았으며, 두 개의 하위 영역의 점수가 거의 유사하였다. 둘째, 초등학생들의 식물친숙도와 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도는 매우 유의한 수준에서 상관이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 각각의 하위 영역별로 상관이 가장 높은 것은 식물친숙도의 심체적 영역과 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도의 태도 영역이었고, 상관이 가장 낮은 것은 식물친숙도의 심체적 영역과 기후변화에 대한 인식과 태도의 인식 영역이었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary school students’ plant familiarity and perception, attitude of climate change by gender and the corelation between elementary school students’ plant familiarity and perception, attitude of climate change. The conclusions of this study are as follows. Firstly, plant familiarity did not differ between elementary school boys and girls. There was no significant difference between boys and girls in cognitive, affective, and psycho-motor domains, which were sub-domains of plant familiarity. The perception, attitudes of elementary school students on climate change were not different by gender. There was no significant difference between boys and girls in both subcategories of perception, attitudes toward climate change, both perceptions and attitudes, and scores of the two subcategories were similar. Secondly, elementary school students’ plant familiarity and perception, attitude of climate change were highly correlated at a significant level. The highest correlation among the subcategories was psycho-motor domain of ​​plant familiarity and the attitude of perception, attitude of climate change. The lowest correlation was psycho-motor domain of ​​plant familiarity and attitude of perception, attitude of climate change.
