미술교육에서 상상력의 기능에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본고에서는 미술교육에서 상상력 교육에 대한 인식의 전환을 목적으로 첫째, 물질과의 관계 맺기는 감응을 불러일으키고 감응을 통해 상상력은 지속적으로 상호 변형을 생성해 나가면서 창의력의 근원이 된다고 보는 바슐라르(Bachelard)의 상상력 이론을 근거로 미술교과에서 창 의성을 발현시키는 상상력 교육에 대해 논의한다. 둘째, 상상력이 현실과 이상의 긴장 관계 속에서 발생하고, 탐구와 발견을 통해 경험을 재구성하는데 이러한 상상력이 공동체를 구성 하는데 중요한 요소라고 주장한 듀이(Dewey)의 상상력 이론을 토대로 소통과 공감을 통해 공공성을 형성시키는 미술교육에 대해 논의한다. 셋째, 인간을 구성하는 몸과 영혼 정신 중 영혼의 사고, 의지, 감정의 작용 원리로 상상력을 설명한 슈타이너(Steiner)의 상상력 이론을 근거로 미술교과에서 직관력을 길러주는 상상력 교육을 논의한다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 본고에서는 미술교과에서 상상력의 기능을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This paper intends to first discuss imaginative education for expressing creativity in arts education based on the imagination theory by Bachelard that building a relationship with an object brings about sensitivity and imagination which continue to mutually transform itself through the sensitivity and create new things and express creativity, with an aim to change the awareness of imaginative education in arts education. Second, it intends to discuss arts education that builds publicness through communication and sympathy based on the imagination theory by Dewey, who argued that imagination comes out of the tense relationship between the reality and the ideal and restructures experiences through exploration and discovery and that such imagination is a critical element to forming communities. Third, it intends to discuss imaginative education that grows intuitive in arts education based on the imagination theory by Steiner, who explained imagination with the principle of action of the thoughts, wills and emotions of soul among the body, soul and spirit of human. Based on such discussions, this study suggests the direction to improve imaginative education in arts education: arts education, imaginative education, creativity education, publicness education and intuitive education.
