국문 초록

이 연구는 디지털 접근법과 문학이론 연구의 방법론적 융합을 통해 필립 K.딕의 『안드로이드는 전기 양의 꿈을 꾸는가?』(1968)의 비평을 시도한다. 이 연구는 RDF 모델링과 함께 DistilBERT 및 Sentence-BERT 임베딩을 적용하여 등장인물, 철학적 담론, 서사적 요소 사이의 심화된 의미 네트워크를 조명하고자 한다. RDF 시각화와 SPARQL 쿼리는 딕의 서사가 존재, 진실성, 기술적 재현에 관한 물음에 어떻게 천착하고 있는가를 주목할 수 있는 유용한 도구가 될 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 구축한 RDF는 사이보그 이론, 동물 윤리, 인간-기계 경계와 같은 포스트휴머니즘의 사유가 작품 속 인물-서사와 어떻게 구조적으로 연결되고 사유할 수 있는지를 검토할 수 있게 한다. 의미론적 복잡성과 연구 규모에 의한 한계도 분명하나 이 연구는 인공지능 기반의 텍스트 분석과 전통적인 비평을 연결함으로써 디지털 비평이 문학 연구 방법론을 확장할 수 있는 가능성을 검토한다.

영문 초록

This study attempts a critical analysis of Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (1968) by integrating digital methodologies with literary theoretical inquiry. By applying RDF modeling alongside DistilBERT and Sentence-BERT embeddings, this research seeks to illuminate the deep semantic network between characters, philosophical discourses, and narrative elements. RDF visualization and SPARQL queries serve as valuable tools for examining how Dick’s narrative engages with questions of existence, authenticity, and technological representation. The RDF framework constructed in this study enables a structured analysis of how posthumanist concepts, such as cyborg theory, animal ethics, and the human-machine boundary, are interconnected within the novel’s characters and narrative structures. While acknowledging the semantic complexity and scalability challenges of such an approach, this study explores the potential of digital criticism to expand literary methodologies by bridging AI-driven textual analysis with traditional literary critique.
