국문 초록

인문학의 사회적 가치를 확립하기 위한 방법적 노선인 실천인문학은 인문학 위기론의 근원적 요인으로 지목된 인문학의 사회적 소통 부재를 혁신하기 위한 실천적 태도이자 노력이다. 기준음고는 음악현장의 국제적 언어 규약으로서 음악적 소통을 실현하기 위한 매개로 기능하고 있으며, 음악적 전통과현대에 결속된 사회문화적 텍스트와 긴밀히 연결되어 실천인문학적 담론창출의 논리를 유의미하게확장할 수 있는 문화적 코드이다. 이에 본 연구는 음고 표준화 서사를 주도하는 기준음고인 435Hz와440Hz의 역사적 정체성을 규명하여, 실천인문학의 사회적 실현을 모색하기 위한 방법적 모델을 구축하는 데 목적과 의의가 있다. 435Hz는 19세기 유럽의 음악적 실천 현장 전반에 기저해 있던 음고의일관성 부재 현실을 혁신하여 음악적 실천을 위한 중재적 음고 표준으로서의 노선을 구축하였다. 440Hz는 20세기 초 실용주의적 사유와 연접한 사회적 지형의 확장 기조를 실현하는 배경으로 음악적 소통의효율성 확보를 위한 보편적이고 실용적인 음고로서의 면면을 반영한다. 본 연구는 음악과 인문학의교차점에 따른 새로운 이해를 제공함으로써 교양교육적 측면에서 활용 가능한 영역 간 융·복합 교육콘텐츠로서의 다학제적 사고를 개발하고 비판적 분석 능력을 강화하는 데 유의미한 텍스트로 기능할수 있으리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

Practical humanities, as a methodological approach for establishing the social value of humanities, embodies a proactiveattitude and an effort to innovate the lack of social communication in the humanities, which has been identified as a rootcause of the so-called crisis within this humanities. The standard pitch acts as an international linguistic convention withinthe musical domain, serving as a mediator for musical communication and is deeply linked to socio-cultural texts. Thesetexts merge musical traditions with the modern era, significantly broadening the discourse-generating logic within practicalhumanities into a pivotal cultural code. This research aims to construct a methodological model to explore the socialimplementation of practical humanities by clarifying the historical identities of 435Hz and 440Hz, which lead the narrativeof pitch standardization. 435Hz addressed the reality of inconsistent pitch prevalent across the 19th century European musicalpractice scene by establishing an intermediary pitch standard for musical practice. 440Hz reflects the characteristics of auniversal and practical pitch aimed at enhancing the efficiency of musical communication, against the backdrop of the expandingsocial topography which is linked to pragmatic thinking in the early 20th century.
