대학 교양수업 유형에 따른 교수실재감 및 사회적 실재감이 학습성과에 미치는 영향 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 교양수업을 온라인과 오프라인 수업 유형에 따라 교수실재감 및 사회적 실재감이학습성과에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지 측정하고자 하였다. 그리고 수업 유형에 따라 보이는 차이를근거로 온라인 수업을 개선하기 위한 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여, 『인간학2』를 수강한학생 422명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수업 유형에 따라 교수실재감 및 사회적 실재감의 평균에는 차이가 있었으나, 학습성과에는 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 온·오프라인수업 모두 모든 변수 간 상관관계가 통계적으로 유의했으며 변수 간 모두 높은 정적상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 수업 유형에 따라 학습성과에 영향을 주는 실재감의 종류가 다르다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 온라인수업에서는 교수실재감이, 오프라인 수업에서는 사회적 실재감이 학습자들의 학습성과에 미치는 영향력이 상대적으로 높았다. 본 연구에서는 연구 결과를 토대로 대학 교양수업을 온라인으로 운영할 시에교수실재감과 사회적 실재감을 촉진할 수 있는 교수학적 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to measure whether there is a difference in the impact of teaching presence and social presenceon learning outcomes in university liberal arts classes according to online and offline class types. In addition, based onthe differences found according to class type, this study attempted to propose a plan to improve online classes. For thispurpose, a survey was conducted among 422 students who took the class ‘Anthropology Ⅱ’. The results were as follows. First, there was a difference in the average of teaching presence and social presence according to the type of class, butno difference in learning outcomes. Second, the correlation between all variables was statistically significant in both onlineand offline classes, and both variables showed a high positive correlation. Thirdly, this study found that the types of presencethat affected learning outcomes differed according to the type of class. The influence of teaching presence in online classesand social presence in offline classes on learning outcomes was relatively high. Based on the research findings, this studysuggests some pedagogical implications that can promote a sense of teaching presence and social presence when runningliberal arts classes online.
