국문 초록

아버지의 음주실태와 관련하여 문제음주군과 정상음주군을 조사하고, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 문제음주를 유의미하게 예측할 수 있는 개인적 특성, 가족관계 특성, 사회경제적 특성 요인을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 30-50대 아버지 149명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실행하였으며, 연구의 목적과 활용방안 등에 대해 설명하고 연구에 대한 동의를 얻은 이후 조사하였다. 아버지의 문제음주를 유의미하게 예측하는 개인적 특성은 ‘자아존중감’이었고, 가족관계 특성은 ‘배우자의 정서적 지지와 도움’이었다. 아버지의 사회경제적 특성은 문제음주와 관련하여 유의미한 예측변수가 아닌 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 아버지 대상의 문제음주 개입상담 및 교육 프로그램 등에서 중점을 두어야 할 활동 내용을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated ‘problematic drinking group’ and ‘normal drinking group’ in relation to the father’s alcohol drinking status. Individual characteristics, family relationship characteristics, and socio-economic characteristics that could significantly predict problematic drinking were analyzed using logistic regression. An online survey method was utilized for 149 fathers in their 30s to 50s. Purpose of the study and research implications were explained and consent for the study was obtained from the participants in advance. The individual characteristic that significantly predicted the father’s problematic drinking was ‘self-esteem.’ In terms of the family relationship characteristic, ‘emotional support and help from spouse’ was the significant predictor for problematic drinking. The father’s socio-economic characteristics were not found to be statistically significant. Based on the research findings, this study proposed strategies that need special attention in interventions for at-risk drinking and educational programs for fathers.
