국문 초록

沈亞之(781-832)는 中唐 시기 활동한 文人 중 하나로, 그에 의해 창작된 작품은 傳奇부터 詩歌에 이르기까지 매우 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 분포한다. 그는 中唐시기 산문 등 창작에 있어 ‘韓門弟子’ 의 일원으로 분류되고 있지만, 의외로 큰 주목을 받지 못한 경향이 있다. 본 논문은 그의 一生과 그가 활동하였던 中唐 시기 文壇의 특징을 살펴보는 과정에서, 沈亞之 라는 인물 및 그의 문학 창작에 대한 저평가의 원인을 찾고, 그와 관련한 資料 부족의 원인도 고찰해 본다. 그의 生涯를 살펴보면, 상당한 苦難과 桎梏의 과정이 존재함을 알 수 있는데, 이러한 과정이 그의 문학 창작에 영향을 주었을 것이다. 또한『沈下賢集』에 수록되어 있는 작품을 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류하여 간단히 소개하였으며, 특히 다른 유형에 비해 상대적으로 주목을 덜 받았던 詩歌에 대해 비교적 자세히 소개하였다. 본 논문은 결국, 文人으로서의 沈亞之 뿐 아니라, 인간으로서의 沈亞之라는 인물이 어떠한 배경 하에서 문학 창작 활동에 임하였는지 그 端緖를 탐색하는 과정의 기록이라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

ShenYaZhi(781-832) was one of the literary writers, who belonged to the person of the Mid-Tang period. The genre of his literary works were so eclectic that it ranges from ChuanQi[傳奇] to proses[散文] or poems[詩歌]. He also belonged to HanMenDizi[韓門弟子], but despite of the position, he does not seem to be the center of attention since then, and this is quite an interesting one. In this essay, I researched ShenYaZhi himself and his background, especially the background of his whole life and of the atmosphere of literary world during Mid-Tang, and tried to find out the connection between his literary works and some backgrounds around him, and by extention, find out the reason why he was undervalued and why he has little historical data. If we take a look at his whole life, his short life was full of agonies and mischances, and it is certain that these factors affected him and his writings. And according to the collection of ShenYaZhi's works [沈下賢集], we can sort his works into five form groups. In this essay, the form of poems was more lighlighted than other genres, because there have been a tendency that his poems attract less attention than other genres, such as ChuanQi [傳奇]. In this essay, I tried to find out not only the clue about literary person ShenYaZhi himself, but the clue about ShenYaZhi as a human being. I hope this research will be able to be the background data for the following convergence researches regarding ShenYaZhi.
