現代漢語“無疑”的詞性探究

국문 초록

“無疑”의 품사는 무엇일까? “無疑”를 동사로 분류한 일부 현대중국어 사전이 있지만, “無疑”는 동작성 혹은 행위성이 약하고, 후미에 목적어를 취하는 경우가 없으므로 그것을 타동사 혹은 자동사로 보기는 어렵다. “無疑”는 오히려 사물의 성질과 상태를 형용하거나 묘사하는 특징을 지닌 형용사에 더 가깝다. 실제로 『規範』、『分類』、『學生』、『進明』、『中朝』、『常用』 등의 사전에서는 “無疑”를 형용사로 분류하였고, 현대중국어에서 “無疑”는 형용사로서 서술어의 기능을 하는 경우가 있다. 단, “無疑”는 상태를 나타내는 정도가 약하기 때문에 “很”, “非常” 등과 같은 정도부사의 수식을 받을 수 없다.많은 사전에서 “無疑”를 형용사로 분류하였지만, 품사를 분류할 때 그 문법적 기능과 출현빈도를 간과해서는 안 된다. 현대중국어에서 “無疑”는 서술어보다는 수식어 기능을 하는 경우가 더 많다. 심지어 “無疑”는 문두에 위치하여 문장 전체를 수식하는 경우도 있다. “無疑”가 수식어 기능을 더 많이 한다는 사실은 CCL에서 검색해보면 쉽게 알 수 있다.따라서 사전에서는 “無疑”를 형용사와 부사의 기능을 통용하는 겸류사로 기재해야 한다.

영문 초록

There are lots of words of “Wu + Abstract nouns.” one of these is “Wuyi”.One of the most popular dictionaries for Chinese is Xiandai Hanyu Cidian. This dictionary classifies “Wuyi” as a verb. However, I disagree with this classification.First of all, we can analyze verbs into transitive verbs and intransitive verbs . The former has the ability to take objects. “Wuyi” does not take objects. Consequently, it cannot a transitive verb.The alternative is that “Wuyi” is an intransitive verb. Generally speaking, intransitive verbs tend to be verbs related to an action or behavior. However, according to my research, “Wu + Abstract nouns” like “You + Abstract nouns” is not related with action or behavior. This suggests that “Wuyu” is not an intransitive verb.On the other hand, what “Wuyi” does describe are the properties of status of people or things. In doing so, it actually has the characteristic of an adjective.So, lots of dictionaries like Xiandai Hanyu Cidian, Xiandai Hanyu Fenlei Cidian, Xiandai Hanyu Changyongci Yongfa Cidian and others argue that “Wuyi” is an adjective. Despite this, there is another phenomenon. This is the adverbial usuage of “Wuyi”. This kind of usuage is ubiquitous in Modern Chinese. Furthermore, “Wuyi” is mainly used adverbial , it also has the manner of speaking “Surely”, “Certainly”. This feather of “Wuyi” is deeply related with adverbs. So I argue that “Wuyi” can also be classified as an adverb.HSK Ciyu Yongfa Xiangjie argues that “Wuyi” is only a adverb╶not an adjective. I partly agree with this assessment. My opinion is that “Wuyi” fits the adjective and adverb classification.
