표준중국어 폐쇄·지속의 음향적 연구

국문 초록

폐쇄음은 모든 언어에 존재하는 음소로 각 언어는 폐쇄음 계열을 하나 이상 갖고 있으며, 각 언어의 폐쇄음 체계는 유성성에 따라, 기의 유무에 따라, 또는 성대의 긴장 유무 등의 특성에 따라 이원, 삼원, 사원 대립 체계로 나뉜다. 표준중국어 폐쇄음은 기식(aspiration)의 특성만으로도 그 발성 유형이 명확하게 구분되며, 기식의 유무에 따라 유기음과 무기음의 이원 대립 체계를 갖는다. 본 연구는 다른 환경(어두, 어중)에서의 표준중국어 폐쇄음의 다양한 음향적 특성인 VOT, CD, VD, F0을 바탕으로 발성 유형 변별에 기여하는 음향적 특성에 대해 고찰하므로, 어두와 어중 환경에서 VOT, CD, VD가 이분지 표준중국어 폐쇄음을 구별할 수 있는 음향적 신호이며, F0은 표준중국어 폐쇄음의 발성 유형을 구분하는 음성적 신호가 아니라는 결과를 발견한 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

A stop consonant is a phoneme that exists in all languages, and each language has one or more stop consonants systems, and each language's stop consonants system is divided into two, three, and four confrontation systems depending on the voice, presence of energy, or tension of the vocal cords. Standard Chinese stop consonants are clearly distinguished its phonation type by their aspiration characteristics, and have a binary oppositional system of aspirated and unaspirated consonants depending on the presence or absence of aspiration. This study examines the acoustic characteristics contributing to the discrimination of phonation type based on VOT, CD, VD, and F0, which are various acoustic characteristics of standard Chinese stop consonants in different environments. It is significant in that it is found that VOT, CD, and VD are acoustic cues that can divided into two confrontation system standard Chinese stop consonants, and F0 is not an acoustic cue that distinguishes the phonation types of standard Chinese stop consonants.
