국문 초록

2017년부터 2015 개정 교육과정이 현장 적용되면서, 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에 대한 학생들의 이해 정도를 점검하기 위한 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 평가틀을 개선하고 문항도 새롭게 개발해야할 필요성이 대두되었다. 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 중학교와 고등학교『수학』과목의 내용 영역은 수와 연산, 문자와 식, 함수, 기하, 확률과 통계의 5개 영역으로 구분되며, 문제 해결, 추론, 창의·융합, 의사소통, 정보처리, 태도 및 실천이라는 6개의 교과 역량을 기를 것을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 개정 교육과정의 특징을 반영하여 평가를 실시하기 위해 국가수준 학업성취도 평가에서는 기존의 내용 영역과 행동 영역으로 구분된 평가틀을 개선하여 교과 역량을 평가할 수 있는 평가틀을 제시할 필요가 있으며, 이를 평가할 수 있는 문항을 개발해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교육과정 문서, 국내 및 국제 학업성취도 평가 및 선행 연구를 분석하여 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정의 수학 교과 역량을 반영한 평가틀(안)을 제안하고, 이를 토대로 한 예시 문항을 개발하여 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

As the 2015 revised curriculum was applied from 2017, it became necessary to improve the assessment framework of NAEA and develop new items to estimate students' understanding based on the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. In the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, the content of the “mathematics” for middle and high school are categorized to five areas: numbers and operations, variables and expressions, functions, geometry, and probabilities and statistics. The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum also emphasizes the development of six mathematical competencies: problem solving, reasoning, creativity and convergence, communication, information processing, and attitudes and practice. By reflecting these characteristics, new mathematics assessment framework and items of NAEA should be developed to assess mathematical competencies. Therefore, this study proposes a new framework of NAEA by analyzing curriculum documents, national and international assessments, and prior studies. Based on this, we develop the sample items for assessing mathematical competencies and present directions to develop into a computer-based assessment. We expect to have a data-driven mathematical education policy established using the results of NAEA for improving students’ mathematical competencies.
