해양경찰청 MZ세대가 갖는 조직문화와 직무만족에 대한 인식의 함의

국문 초록

MZ세대는 현재 우리나라 인구의 약 36%를 차지하고 있으며, 그들이 차지하는 사회구성원으로 서의 비중이 지속적으로 증가할 것은 자명한 일이다(Yang, 2021). 해양경찰청 역시 조직 전체를 기준으로 매년 MZ세대의 비중은 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 해양경찰청 내부 자료에 의하면 2022 년 기준 조직 전체의 약 40%가 MZ세대로 구성되어 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 그들이 가지고 있 는 조직문화에 대한 인식 결과는 향후 해양경찰의 건전한 발전 방향과 구성원들의 직무만족 및 조 직몰입 향상을 위한 조직 차원의 대응 방안을 제시할 수 있는 근본적 자료가 될 것이다. 본 연구에 서는 조직문화와 직무만족에 대한 선행연구들의 결과를 바탕으로 해양경찰청 MZ세대 경찰관들의 조직문화에 대한 인식 정도를 파악하고 그들이 인식하고 있는 조직문화와 직무만족의 연관성을 파 악하여 조직문화의 발전 및 정책적 개선 방향을 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구자는 이번 연구가 급변하는 시대의 흐름 속에 해양경찰의 조직문화가 적극적인 자세로 MZ세대와 융합을 이 뤄내고 다양한 조직문화의 성장을 도모할 수 있는 원천이 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The MZ generation currently accounts for about 36% of the Korean population, and it is obvious that their share as a member of society will continue to increase. Overall, the proportion of MZ generation in Korea Coast Guard is continuously increasing as well, and according to the internal data of the Korea Coast Guard, it was confirmed that about 40% of the entire organization as of 2022 consists of the MZ generation. Therefore, the result of their recognition of their organizational culture will be a fundamental data that can suggest the light direction of healthy development of the Korea Coast Guard in the future, and organizational-level response plans for job satisfaction and organizational commitment of members. Therefore, in this study, based on the results of previous studies on organizational culture and job satisfaction, the recognition level of MZ generation police officers of the Korea Coast Guard was identified, and the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction perceived by them was identified. and suggestions for policy improvement. The researcher expects that this study will become a source that can promote the growth of various organizational cultures by achieving convergence with the MZ generation with an active attitude in the organizational culture of the Korea Coast Guard in the rapidly changing era.
