국문 초록

이 글은 학제성을 바탕으로 하여 문식성 발달의 연구를 위한 방법론을 논의하였다. 그 중에서도 특히 방법적 개념을, 문식성 발달 연구를 위하여 학제적 차원에서 수용하는 관점을 취하였다. 이 글에서 주목한 방법적 개념은 진화재연(recapitulation)인데, 이 개념은 진화생물학에서 태동하여 과학 전반을 이끌어온 핵심적인 개념이다. 이 글은 진화재연의 방법적 개념이 문식성 발달에서 학제적으로 수용될 가능성이 있는지를 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 실제적으로 문식성 발달을 설명할 수 있는지를 논의하였다. 그 결과, 진화재연의 방법적 개념을 학제적으로 수용하는 것이 합리적으로 인정되며, 이에 바탕을 반복적 구조가 문식성 발달의 장면에서도 존재하고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히, 독서에서는 독서 형태의 이행 과정, 텍스트 해석의 권위의 해체 과정이 문화사(계통발생) 및 개인사(개체발생)에서 반복되고 있음을 확인하였으며, 작문에서는 표기 형태의 이행 과정, 작문 가치의 변모 과정이 문화사 및 개인적 발달사에서 반복되고 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This paper investigated the interdisciplinary methodological concept for literacy development. Specially this paper concentrated on 'recapitulation' came from evolutionary biology as methodological concept. Recapitulation has been functioned as a principle and a keyword of natural science theory till the now. This paper examined possibility of recapitulation as interdisciplinary methodological concept for literacy development, and discussed the explanation capability of recapitulation based on the possibility with it. This paper concluded that it was natural to accept recapitulation as interdisciplinary methodological concept for literacy development, and that the structure of recapitulation existed in facet of literacy development. Above all the same structure of recapitulation in both 'Cultural History' and 'Individual History' was identified that oral reading transition to silent reading and authority of interpretation transition to deconstruction in reading, and that the transform of inscription types and the transition of composition values
