국문 초록

문법에서 다루는 언어의 단위는 문장에서 텍스트 단위로 확장되었고, 문법 교육은 언어를 자율적인 체계로만 다루던 데에서 언어와 인간·사회의 관련성에 관심을 가지게 된다. 언어관의 변화는 문법 교육의 내용 확장으로 이어지고, 문법 교육과 다른 영역과의 통합 가능성을 높였다. 이러한 과정에서 문법 교육의 정체성을 밝히고자 하는 노력은 계속 되었다. 문법 교육의 정체성은 문법 교육이 국어교육철학으로서의 역할을 담당하는 데서 찾을 수 있다. 문법 교육은 국어란 무엇인가라는 본질적인 질문에 대한 답을 찾고자 한다는 점에서 국어교육철학의 근본적 토대를 이루는 영역이다. 문법 교육의 내용은 ‘국어의 보편성과 특수성, 국어 사용의 규범과 국어 사용의 바른 수행, 국어의식과 얼의 형성’ 등으로 구성되어 있다. 또한 문법 교육의 본질적 내용으로서 국어의 특질, 국어의식과 얼의 형성과 관련된 교육 내용을 살필 수 있다. 그리고 국어의 내용 측면의 교육내용을 강화하고 다른 영역과 통합할 수 있는 교육 내용으로 기능 문법과 표현 문법과 관련된 내용을 모색할 필요가 있다. 모국어교육으로서의 국어교육, 그 내부 기반으로서의 문법 교육은 재해석되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Grammar education has explored various answers on how to look at language and with what language to be looked at. In the process, unit of language dealt with in grammar expanded from sentence to unit of text. Accordingly, grammar education became interested in relationship between language and human society - in the past, grammar education dealt with language as autonomous system. Change in perspective about language led to expansion of content of grammar education, and improved possibility of integration between grammar education and other domains. In this writing, identity of grammar education is being sought in exploring natural meaning of Korean language education. In the chapter 3, nature of grammar education was explored in grammar education as philosophy of Korean language education. It was identified that essential question in Korean language education, ‘what is Korean language?’ can be solved in content of grammar education. It is necessary to preserve classical value by making content of existing grammar education firm in the core content while expanding and reproducing educational content where other areas can be integrated. This writing divided characteristics of Korean language as natural content, educational content related to the consciousness of the Korean language and formation of spirit. And this suggested that educational content in content aspect of Korean language be strengthened. And as educational content that can be integrated with other areas, functional grammar and expressional grammar were suggested.
