낭독을 활용한 고전 시가 교수-학습 방법 모색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 ‘낭독’을 활용한 고전 시가 교수-학습 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 이는 학습자가 고전 시가 이해를 심화·확장할 수 있고 작품을 내면화하여 서로 소통하는 데에 기여한다. 특히 이 연구에서는 고전 문학 교육의 현상을 직시하고 고전 시가 교수-학습 방법의 새로운 방향을 모색했는데 그 중심에 텍스트 수용의 매개체이며 표현의 기제인 ‘낭독’을 두었다. 우선 ‘낭독이 부재’한 문학 교육의 실태를 살피고 ‘낭독의 부활’에 초점화하여 학습자와 교사가 함께 소통할 수 있는 살아있는 고전 시가 교육의 실천을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 구술성과 연행성의 특질에 주목하여 ‘낭독’의 의미를 개념화하고 작품 감상 단계(소리 읽기-의미 읽기-다시 읽기)에 따라 달라지는 낭독의 의미를 구분하고 그 효용성을 밝혔다. 이를 바탕으로 고전 시가 교수-학습 원리(친근성, 통합성, 상호교섭성)와 모형을 마련하였다. 이를 통해 학습자는 고전 시가를 보다 쉽게 감상하고 주체적으로 즐겁게 협동하여 내면화할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore teaching and learning methods of classic poetry using ‘recitation’. This contributes to communication through expanded understanding of classic poetry by learners and internalization of work. Particularly, this study confronted the current situation of education on classic literature and sought a new direction in pedagogics. At its heart lies ‘recitation’ - media to accommodate texts and tool of expression. Above all, the study reviewed the current situation of literature education ‘lacking recitation’ and focusing on the ‘revival of ‘recitation’ sought to practise education of classic poetry in which learners and teachers communicate. For this, the study, noting the characteristics of orality and performance, conceptualized the meaning of ‘recitation’ and classified its meanings by work appreciation stage (voice reading- meanings reading- rereading) and identified their effectiveness. Based on this, it prepared a model for teaching and learning principle of classic poetry (familiarity, integration and interactional negotiation). This may allow the learners to appreciate classic poetry more easily and internalize more effectively.
