국문 초록

이 연구는 한국어 문법 교육의 내용을 보강하는 데 목적이 있는 연구로 한국어의 부사격 조사 ‘에’, ‘에서’의 다의적 쓰임과 의미 기능을 분석하여 이를 한국어 문법 교육에 적용해 보고자 하였다. 기존의 한국어 교재에 나타난 부사격 조사의 설명 방식은 다의적 쓰임이 분리되어 문법 정보가 기술되고 있다. 또한 의미의 차이가 명시적으로 기술되지 않아 한국어 교사와 학습자는 정확한 의미와 용법을 쉽게 이해하지 못하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 한국어 부사격 조사의 다의적 쓰임에 나타나는 언어적 동기화에 주목하여 의미 확장 방식을 인지언어학적 관점에서 제시하였다. 부사격 조사 ‘에’와 ‘에서’는 물리적 대상의 처소 및 이동 관계를 나타내며 인지적 공간 경험을 바탕으로 보다 추상적 의미로 체계적으로 확장되었다. 이와 같이 한국어 교육에서 인지언어학의 이론적 특성의 교육적 가능성을 바탕으로 한국어 학습자가 보다 쉽게 학습할 수 있도록 교육 내용과 기술 방식을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to reinforce contents of Korean grammar education and it is conducted to analyze the polysemous uses and semantic functions of Korean adverbial case particles of ‘e’ and ‘eseo’ and apply it for Korean language education. The explanation method of adverbial case particles on existing Korean language books is description of grammar information without polysemous uses and lack of systematic and specific explanation of grammar information of postposition. In addition, Korean language instructors and learners couldn’t easily understand its accurate meaning and usage because the differences representing the similar meanings are not specifically described. To resolve this, the study focused on the linguistic synchronization appearing on the usage of Korean adverbial case particles and suggested the meaning extension method in the perspective of cognitive linguistics. As a result, it was found that ‘e’ and ‘eseo’ represent a place of a physical subject and its transfer relation and can be systematically extended as an abstract meaning based on cognitive space experiences. In this study, the educational contents and the description method of Korean language education are suggested for learners to study the Korean language more easily based on the educational potential of theoretical characteristics of cognitive linguistics.
