신유한 후손가본 소장 고서에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

본고는 근래 고령 원송리에 위치한 靑泉 申維翰(1681~1752) 후손가에서 발견된 신유한의 친필본과 문집 초고본을 학계에 보고하기 위해 작성되었다. 우선 신유한 친필 고문사 선집으로 『시서정종』 3책, 『조승삼■』 1책, 『청천집1』 1책을 검토하였다. 『시서정종』은 신유한이 고문사를 학습하기 위해 시와 문의 전범이 되는 글을 선록한 선집으로, 제목만 알려 있었는데 이번 조사를 통해 그 전모를 알 수 있게 되었다. 신유한의 상고적 문학론이 어떤 작품을 대상으로 했는지, 신유한 문학에 미친 영향은 무엇인지 해명할 수 있는 길이 열렸다고 하겠다. 『조승삼■』은 이반룡, 이몽양, 왕세정의 시문이, 『청천집1』에는 이몽양, 서위, 왕세정의 작품이 선록되어 있다. 신유한이 애호한 전후칠자의 작품을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있는데, 특히 왕세정의 책문과 서독을 다수 수록한 것이 특징적이다. 후손가 소장 『청천집』 필사본에는 간행본 『청천집』에 수록되지 않은 작품이 다수 수록되어 있으며, 신유한 시문의 창작배경을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있는 서문과 각주도 확인할 수 있었다. 이밖에 신유한과 교유하였던 당대 저명한 문인들의 작품도 함께 살펴볼 수 있기에 18세기 영남 및 소북계 문단을 이해하는 데 도움을 주리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

This paper introduces Shin Yuhan s Handwritten Texts recently discovered in the home of the descendants of Cheongcheon Shin Yuhan (申維翰, 1681-1752) located in Won Songri Go Ryung. First, we reviewed SiSeojungjong (『詩書正宗』) ChoSeungsam■(『照乘三■』), Cheongcheojip(『靑泉集』), which are Anthology of Classical Prose Writings written by Shin Yuhan. SiSeojungjong is an anthology of poetry and prose for learning classical writing. Until now, only the title was known, but through this survey, it became possible to know the details. It is said that it has opened the way to clarify what kind of works Shin Yuhan s antiquarianism was aimed at and what kind of influence it has on Shin Yuhan s literature. ChoSeungsam■ is an anthology of Li Panlong(李攀龍), Li Mengyang(李夢陽), Wang Shizhen(王世貞) and the Cheongcheojip is an anthology of Li Mengyang, Xu Wei(徐渭), Wang Shizhen. We can see in this book the work of Former and Latter Seven Master, which Shin Yuhan loved. In particular, it features a large number of Wang Shizhen s Chaekmun and Letters. Drafts of the collection of Shin Yuhan’s works owned by the descendants contains many works that are not included in the published book, and we can also check the preface and footnotes that can confirm the creative background of Shin Yuhan s poetry. In addition, we can see the works of famous writers who interacted with Shin Yuhan, which is expected to help us to understand Yeungnam (嶺南) and Sobukmundan(小北文壇) in the 18th century.
