『纂注分類杜詩』 補註에 활용된 宋ㆍ元代 문학비평서 검토

국문 초록

1444년 조선에서 편찬된 『纂注分類杜詩』(이하, 『찬주』)에는 諸家의 주석을 제외하고 별도로 첨가한 補註가 있다. 보주를 구성하고 있는 텍스트들은 매우 다양한데, 그중 본고에서 주목한 것은 宋ㆍ元代 문학비평서다. 이에 대해서는 이미 선행 연구에서 일정한 방향성을 제시했고, 참고할 만한 성과들이 있다. 이를 바탕으로 본고에서는 보주에 인용된 송ㆍ원대 문학비평서를 좀 더 조사하여 목록을 만들고, 조선 초기 유입 여부를 따져보았다. 또한 보주에서 외부 텍스트를 인용하는 방식을 분석하여, 실제로 자주 활용된 텍스트들을 살펴보았다. 보주를 구성하는 데 가장 많이 활용되었던 것은 魏慶之의 『詩人玉屑』이다. 이 책은 1439년 충청도에서 간행된 이력이 있는데, 이미 詩學書로 알려져서 ‘詩學의 指南’이라는 평가를 받고 있었다. 徐居正의 『東人詩話』서문에서도 이 책은 좋은 비평서로 빠짐없이 언급되었다. 蔡正孫의 『詩林廣記』는 元版本이 현재 전해지고, 조선 초기 문학비평서로는 유일하게 금속활자[乙亥字]로 인쇄된 적이 있는 독특한 텍스트다. 보주에서도 실제 원문을 꼼꼼히 분석한 결과, 『시림광기』에 수록된 다른 시화들을 재인용 하는 방식으로 자주 활용되었다. 다만 보주에는 『시림광기』에서 재인용한 것임을 따로 밝혀놓지 않아서 원문을 비교하기 전까지는 사정을 알기 어렵다. 보주에 나타난 송ㆍ원대 비평서를 주목했던 이유는 조선 초기 문학비평을 다른 시각에서 접근해보고자 함이다. 조선 초기 문학사에 대한 거시적 담론을 여기서 말하기는 어렵다. 본고에서는 서적의 수용과 텍스트의 전파라는 측면에서 당시에 수용된 문학비평서를 문헌학적으로 검토해 보았다. 이것은 고려 중기부터 연속성을 보인 송ㆍ원대 문학비평서에 대해 새로운 관심을 불러일으키고, 조선 초기 문학비평을 설명하는 데 실증적인 자료를 확보할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 생각한다.

영문 초록

『纂注分類杜詩』 was compiled in 1444 in Joseon. This book has 補註, which is added separately except for several annotations. The books cited in 補註 are very diverse. Among them, what this paper pays attention to is literary criticism of Song-Won period[宋ㆍ元代]. In this regard, a certain direction has already been suggested in previous studies, and there are achievements worth referring to. Based on this, in this paper, the literature criticism of Song-Won period cited in 補註 was further investigated to make a list, and whether or not it flowed in the early Joseon Dynasty was examined. In addition, by analyzing the method of citing external text in 補註, we looked at the texts frequently used in 補註. The most commonly used one in 補註 is 『詩人玉屑』. This book was published in Chungcheong-do in 1439. At that time, it was already known as a textbook of Chinese poetry and was evaluated as ‘The right guide of Chinese poetry’. In the preface of 『東人詩話』, this book was mentioned as a good critique. 『詩林廣記』 is now handed down a edition published in the Yuan Dynasty[元版本]. It was the only Literature critique in the early Joseon Dynasty that was printed in metal type[金屬活字, 乙亥字]. As a result of thorough analysis of the actual text in 補註, 『詩林廣記』 was frequently used as a recitation method. However, it is difficult to know the situation until the original text is compared because the source of the re-quotation(『詩林廣記』) was not disclosed separately. The reason for paying attention to the literary criticism of Song-Won period shown in 補註 is to approach literary criticism in the early Joseon Dynasty from a different perspective. In terms of book acceptance and text propagation, it is a literary review of the literary criticism accepted at the time. This cannot explain the huge discourse of literary history. However, it will be possible to attract new attention to literary criticisms such as 『詩林廣記』 and secure empirical data necessary to explain literary criticism in the early Joseon Dynasty.
