보육교사의 영유아 아동학대 관련 변인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동학대와 관련된 교사변인으로 알려져 있는 영유아 권리존중 보육실행, 자아존중감, 교사의 효능감, 사회적 지지에 대하여 살펴보는 것을 통해 내실 있는 아동학대 예방프로그램 구성을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 아동학대에 대한 심각성이 지속적으로 논의되고 다양한 프로그램이 제공됨에도 불구하고 여전히 보육기관에서 아동학대가 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 수행을 기반으로 내실 있는 아동학대 예방을 위한 기초자료를 축적할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 본 연구에서는 교사의 직급, 경력, 어린이집 유형 등의 배경 변인을 기준으로 영유아 권리존중 보육실행, 자아존중감, 교사의 효능감 및 사회적 지지의 차이를 살펴보았다. 또한 관련 변인들의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 자료는 보육교사 및 원장 172명에게 수집하였으며, ‘영유아 권리존중 보육 실행척도’, ‘자아존중감 평정 척도’, ‘교사의 효능감 척도’, ‘사회적지지 척도’를 사용하여 수집되었다. 모든 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 분석방법은 독립표본 t 검증과 일원변량배치분석, Pearson의 적률상관 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 본 연구의 연구결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 직급에 따른 교사의 효능감에서 차이가 나타났다. 영유아 권리존중보육 실행, 자아존중감, 사회적 지지는 직급에 따른 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 경력에 따른 제반변인의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 마지막으로 기관 유형에서 직장어린이집이 국공립어린이집에 비해 사회적 지지가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아 권리존중 보육실행, 자아존중감, 교사의 효능감, 사회적지지 간의 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 영유아 권리존중 보육 실행, 자아존중감, 교사의 효능감, 사회적 지지의 체계들을 연계하여 교육할 수 있는 아동학대 예방 프로그램이 요구된다. 둘째, 교사의 배경변인에 적합한 요인들을 강화할 수 있는 교육 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for constructing a substantial child abuse prevention program by examining child abuse-related childcare practices, self-esteem, teacher efficacy, and social support, which are known as teacher‘s child abuse-related variables. Although the seriousness of child abuse continues to be discussed and various programs are provided, child abuse still occurs in child care institutions. Therefore, it is judged that basic data for substantial child abuse prevention can be accumulated based on the performance of this study. In this study, the differences in childcare practices respecting the rights of infants and young children, self-esteem, teachers efficacy and social support were examined based on background variables such as teacher s rank, career, and type of daycare center. In addition, correlations of related variables were analyzed. The data were collected from 172 childcare teachers and principals, and were collected using the Respect for Infant Rights Childcare Practice Scale , Self-Esteem Rating Scale , Teacher s Efficacy Scale , and Social Support Scale . All collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program, and the independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson s moment correlation analysis method were used as analysis methods. The research results of this study are presented as follows. First, there was a difference in the teacher s sense of efficacy according to the position of the teacher. There were no differences according to rank in the implementation of childcare that respects the rights of infants and toddlers, self-esteem, and social support. Also, there was no difference in various variables according to career. Second, significant positive correlations were found between childcare practices that respect the rights of infants and young children, self-esteem, teacher efficacy, and social support. The conclusions drawn based on the results of this study are as follows. First, there is a need for a child abuse prevention program that can educate by linking the systems of teachers respect for children s rights and childcare practices, self-esteem, teachers sense of efficacy, and social support. Second, it is required to develop an educational program that can reinforce factors suitable for the background variables of teachers.
