메타인지를 활용한 입체도형 드로잉 교육 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 메타인지를 활용한 입체도형 드로잉 교육이 성인 여성 학습자의 비판적 사고와 자기규제의 변화에 효과가 있는지를 검증하기 위해 시도되었다. 싱가포르에 거주 중인 한국인 20~40대 여성 학습자 15명을 대상으로 2021년 4월 17일부터 6월 17일까지 주 1회 총 8주차의 드로잉 교육을 적용하였다. 자료 분석은 통계패키지 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 윌콕슨의 대비된 쌍의 부호 순위 사전-사후 z검정을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 입체도형 드로잉 교육 참여 후 학습자들은 비판적 사고와 자기규제가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 자기규제 수준이 높은 집단과 낮은 집단 모두 드로잉 교육 후 비판적 사고가 유의하게 높아졌다. 셋째, 비판적 사고가 높은 집단과 낮은 집단은 드로잉 교육 참여 후 자기규제에 유의하게 변화되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구는 메타인지를 활용한 입체도형 드로잉 교육이 학습자들의 합리적 사고력과 올바른 판단 등의 여러 역량을 높일 수 있음을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to test whether drawing education for solid figures based on a meta-cognitive would be effective for changes to the critical thinking and self-regulation of female adult learners. Drawing education was provided to 15 female Korean learners that lived in Singapore and were in their twenties, thirties, or forties with a session per week over total eight weeks on April 17~June 17, 2021. Collected data was put to the Wilcoxon signed-rank pre- and post-Z-test for contrast pairs with the statistical package SPSS 21.0. The findings were as follows: first, there was a significant improvement in learners critical thinking and self-regulation after participating in drawing education for solid figures; secondly, there was a significant increase in critical thinking after drawing education in both the high and low self-regulation groups; and finally, there were significant changes to self-regulation after participation in drawing education in both the high and low critical thinking groups. These findings imply that drawing education for solid figures based on a meta-cognitive can enhance learners several competencies including rational thinking and right judgment.
