국문 초록

본 연구는 양과 질이라는 이분법적 논리에서 질적 연구의 패러다임과 보편적인 연구관행에 대해서 살펴보고, 중도·중복장애아동 교육연구에서 질적 연구의 패러다임을 실천할 수 있는 방법론에 대하여 논의함으로써 질적 연구의 패러다임과 논리에 충실한 엄밀의‘학’으로서 질적 연구방법론의 방향성과 실재를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이상의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 연구를 진행한 결과 첫째, 질적 연구의 논리가 내재된 방법론보다는 절차 및 기법중심의 질적 연구 성과물이 주로 양산되고 있었는데, 이는 실증주의적 경험과학의 지배에서 벗어나지 못한 결과로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 중도·중복장애아동 교육연구에서 질적 연구의 패러다임을 실천하기 위한 방법론적 요소는 연구설정의 배경 이해, 연구자인‘나’에 대한 이해, 중도·중복장애아동에 대한 이해, 중도·중복장애아동과 연구자의 관계성 이해이며, 이 4가지 요소에 공통적 동시적으로 적용되는 방법론으로서 판단중지 및 환원, 반성과 성찰, 글쓰기를 제안하였다. 아울러 이들의 구체적 사례를 통해 그 의미에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on observing both the qualitative research methodology and paradoxical research practice based on the dichotomized logic of quantity and quality. Methods of efficiently propelling pedagogy on severe and multiple handicapped children into action will be discussed, which can effectively be used to present the direction and real value of academics that are highly contributed to qualitative research methodology and logic. Two pivotal parts are mentioned in order to propel the purpose mentioned above. First, the study result in the modern state concentrates mostly on the procedure and technique rather than the qualitative research methodology, which is a study method that includes logic of quality within. This resembles the limit of not effectively being able to deviate from positivism and empirical science. Second, the methodological factors to put qualitative research paradigm into practice in the education study for severe and multiple handicapped children are constituted into four main parts. These are the comprehension on the background of the research set, of the researcher, of severe and multiple handicapped children, and the relationship between the researcher and the children. There are suggestions for applications that commonly and simultaneously concern all four parts of the methodology—introspection, self-examination, pausing judgment, resolution, and writing. Discussions of concrete examples will also be displayed.
