국문 초록

본 연구는 장애·비장애 자녀를 가진 어머니의 자기효능감과 남편의 양육참여도가 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 진행되었다. 연구대상은 서울·경기·충남지역에 위치한 장애인복지관과 아동발달센터 등을 이용하는 만18세 미만의 장애인 자녀를 가진 어머니 79명과 같은 지역의 비장애자녀를 가진 어머니 70명을 대상으로 설문지가 수집되었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 자살에 대한 생각에는 자녀의 장애 유무가 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애인 자녀를 가진 어머니의 자살에 대한 생각에는 어머니의 자기효능감이 영향을 미치지만 남편의 양육참여정도는 어머니의 자살에 대한 생각에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 비장애자녀를 가진 어머니의 자살에 대한 생각에는 남편의 양육참여가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 어머니의 자기효능감은 자살에 대한 생각에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 자살에 대한 생각에 미치는 자녀의 장애유무, 어머니의 자기효능감, 남편의 양육참여도의 상대적 영향력에서는 남편의 양육참여가 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 다음으로 어머니의 자기효능감이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 장애인 자녀를 가진 어머니에게는 자녀의 장애유무보다 오히려 자신의 자기효능감이 자살생각에 상대적으로 많은 영향을 미치고, 비장애인 자녀를 가진 어머니에게는 남편의 양육참여가 어머니의 자살생각에 상대적으로 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 어머니의 자살생각에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 단순비교에서는 남편의 양육참여도가 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 다음으로 어머니의 자기효능감이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 자녀의 장애 유무는 자살에 대한 생각에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과들은 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 자살생각을 낮추기 위해서는 어머니 자기효능감과 남편의 양육참여의 중요성을 강조하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of self-efficiency according to existence of child s disability and husband s participation in child raising on mother s suicidal ideation. The subjects of this survey were made up of 79 mothers raising disabled children who use services in welfare facilities(welfare center for the disabled and children s developmental center) and 70 mothers raising non-disabled child in Seoul, Gyeonggi province and Chungnam province. The results of the study were as follows. First, existence of child s disability doesn t have an effect on mother s suicidal ideation. Second, self-efficiency of mothers raising disabled children has an effect on mother s suicidal ideation, but husband s participation in child raising doesn t. Third, self-efficiency of mothers raising non-disabled children doesn t have an effect on mother s suicidal ideation, but husband s participation in child raising has a bad influence. Fourth, the study showed that husband s participation in child raising has worse influence on mother s suicidal ideation than mother s self-efficiency. The study showed that self-efficiency, rather than existence of child s disability has influence on mother s suicidal ideation, and it has significance for the fact that husband s participation in child raising has a bad influence on every mother s suicidal ideation. Therefore, experts need to develop new programs to promote husband s participation in child raising and improve mother s self-efficiency, also this study shows the need of social concern and political support.
