국문 초록

이 연구는 자기방어기제가 SNS 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대한 실증적 연구이다. 연구대상은 서울에 거주하는 20세이상 남녀 성인 329명이다. 코로나 19(COVID-19) 확산 이후 ‘사회적 거리두기’로 인해 디지털 중독 위험이 높아지고 있다. 특히, SNS 사용량이 증가하면서 불안, 우울 및 일상생활 장애 등 어려움을 호소하는 중독 증상들이 나타나고 있어 사회적으로 큰 문제가 아닐 수 없다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 개인의 적응과 대처방식에 영향을 끼치는 자기방어기제가 SNS중독에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과, SNS이용시간이 많은 집단일수록 중독 수준이 높은 경향을 보였으며, 자기방어기제 중 미성숙 방어기제가 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study is an empirical study of how self-defense mechanisms affect SNS addiction. The study targets 329 male and female adults aged 20 or older living in Seoul. Since the spread of COVID-19, the risk of digital addiction has increased due to social distancing . In particular, as the use of SNS increases, addiction symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and daily life disorder are appearing, it is a big social problem. Therefore, the study wanted to verify the impact of self-defense mechanisms on SNS addiction, which have a wide range of effects on individual adaptation and coping methods. According to the study, groups with more SNS use time tended to have a higher level of addiction, and immature defense mechanisms among self-defense mechanisms had the highest impact.This study is an empirical study of how self-defense mechanisms affect SNS addiction.
