교과 연계 의사소통 교육 프로그램 운영 고찰

국문 초록

본고는 충북대학교가 운영한 교과 연계 의사소통 교육 프로그램을 소개하고 대학의사소통 교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 모색하고자 하였다.충북대학교의 의사소통 교육 프로그램은ACE사업으로 시작된CI교과목(CommunicationIntensive)과 관련이깊다.CI교과목을 개발하기 위하여 교과목을 지원할 수 있는CI센터를 설립하였고, CI센터를 중심으로 의사소통 교육 프로그램들이 점진적으로 개발되었기 때문이다. CI교과목을 운영한 4년간은 교과목을 지원하는 보조적 기구로서의 역할이 중심이었다가 2015년 이후부터는 다양한 비교과 의사소통 교육 프로그램을 운영하는 기구로서 기능하였다.2018년부터는 교과를 지원하는 보조기구로서의 경험과 비교과 의사소통 교육 프로그램 주 운영 부서로서의 경험을 종합하여 ‘교과 연계 의사소통 교육프로그램’을 운영하게 되었다. 교과 연계 의사소통 교육 프로그램이란 다양한 의사소통 교육 프로그램 중 정규 교과목의 교육과정과 연동하여 운영할 수 있는 프로그램을 말한다.대표적인 교과 연계의사소통 교육 프로그램으로는 ‘글쓰기 상담’,‘독서인증제’,‘독서감상문대회’가 있다.‘글쓰기 상담 연계’는 특정 교과목의 교수자가 글쓰기 과제를 부여하고 그 과제를작성하는 과정에 ‘글쓰기 상담’ 프로그램을 필수적인 것으로 지정할 때 이루어진다. ‘독서인증제 연계’는 특정 교과목의 교수자가 지정 텍스를 읽고 해당 텍스트에서 학습자 스스로 문제적인 부분을 발견하고 그것을 자기 언어로 표현하는 훈련을 집중적으로 하고자 할 때 이루어진다.‘기타 연계’에는 대회성 프로그램 연계가 있다.예를들면 독서감상문대회 연계 같은 것들이다. 교과 연계 의사소통 교육 프로그램은 글쓰기 교육 외연의 확대,글쓰기 교수자 외연의 확대라는 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study introduces the subject-linked communication education program operated by Chungbuk National University and determines the direction for university communication education. The communication education program offered at Chungbuk National University is closely related to the Communication Intensive(CI) course that was initiated as an ACE(Advancement of College Education) project. These courses are closely related because a CI Center was established to develop CI subjects, and communication education programs were gradually developed at the CI Center. During the four years of operating CI courses, the primary role of the center was to serve as a subsidiary organization supporting the subjects. However, since 2015, the center has functioned as an organization operating various comparison and communication education programs. Since 2018, the subject-linked communication education program was operated by synthesizing the experience as a subsidiary device supporting the subject and experience as the primary operation department of the communication education program. The term “subject-linked communication education program” is used to refer to a program that can be operated in conjunction with the regular curriculum, among various communication education programs. Representative curriculum-linked communication education programs include “writing counseling,” “reading certification system,” and “reading appreciation contest.” “Writing Counseling Link” occurs place when a teacher for a specific subject assigns a writing assignment and determines the “writing counseling” program as a key factor in the process of completing the assignment. “Linking to the reading certification system” is achieved when a teacher in a specific subject reads a designated text, discovers a section of the text that students have difficulty understanding, and focuses on training students to express this in their own language. In “other linkages,” there is a competition program linkage. For example, it is related to the reading appreciation contest. The curriculum-linked communication education program has the significance of expanding the extension of writing education and the expansion of writing instructors.
