문법 교육과정 핵심 개념의 구체화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 문법 교육의 핵심 개념이 문법 교육의 목표인 문법 능력에 기반하여야 한다는 것, 그리고 문법 교육 내용 구성이 문법 탐구 경험을 중심으로 재구성될 필요가 있다는 전제 하에, 2022 교육과정 개정을 앞두고 문법 영역 내용 체계의 보완을 위해 핵심 개념의 구체화를 논하고자 하였다. ‘문법 탐구 경험’은 문법 교육 전반의 지향점과 같은 포괄적 성격을 지닌다. 따라서 문법 탐구 경험이 문법 교육의 틀과 내용을 구성해야 하는 교육과정의 핵심 개념으로 자리를 잡기 위해서는 문법 능력의 실체적이고 구체적인 내용으로 구현되어야 하는데, 그것은 곧 학습자가 경험하게 될 문법적 사고로 귀결될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 탐구 과정에서 경험하는 문법적 사고로서, 교육과정의 핵심 개념의 하위 항목으로서 ‘유추’를 제안하였다. ‘유추’는 그간 문법 연구자들이 문법 지식을 체계화하는 방법적 도구이기도 하였으며, 문법적 사고를 가능하게 하는 핵심 기제이기도 하다. 언어의 인접성이나 유사성을 기반으로 하여 문법적 탐구 경험을 구체화할 수 있는 문법적 사고로서의 ‘유추’는 기존의 다양한 문법 범주에서 작동 가능한 전이력 높은 방법적 지식으로, 역량 중심 교육과정에서 제시할 수 있는 문법 영역의 핵심 개념 중 하나가 될 수 있을 것이다. 핵심 개념은 ‘원리’, ‘통찰’, ‘전이력’, ‘영속적 이해’ 등의 속성을 지닌 개념이다. 교과의 핵심 원리이면서 교과의 내용 지식을 포괄할 수 있어야 하고, 동시에 2015 개정 교육과정이 추구하는 융·복합적인 창의적 인간상을 위해 영역 간, 교과 간의 통합 연결 고리로서의 기능도 갖추어야 하는 개념이다. 문법적 사고에 기반한 ‘유추’는 핵심 개념의 구체적 요소로서 문법 내용 구성화에 기여하면서 동시에 타 교과와의 연결고리로서의 역할도 가능할 수 있으리라 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

This study presupposes two things. One is that the core concept of grammar education should be based on grammar ability, the goal of grammar education. And the other is that the composition of grammar education content needs to be structured around grammar inquiry experiences. With these two premises, prior to the revision of the 2022 curriculum, I tried to discuss the concrete concept of the core concepts to supplement the content system in the grammar area. Experience in grammar inquiry is comprehensive as the general purpose of grammar education. Therefore, the experience of grammar inquiry will be established as a core concept of the curriculum that must constitute the frame and content of grammar education. In order to do that, the grammar inquiry experience must be embodied in the substantive and concrete content of the grammar ability, which can soon lead to grammatical thinking that the learner will experience. Therefore, in this study, as part of this exploration, an analogy is proposed as a sub-item of the core concept of the curriculum. Analogy has been a methodical tool for grammar researchers to systematize grammatical knowledge, and is also a key mechanism for enabling grammatical thinking. And analogy is one of grammatical thinking that can materialize grammatical inquiry experience based on the adjacency or similarity of language. Analogy is knowledge with high transfer power that can operate in various existing grammar categories, and can be one of the core concepts of grammar that can be presented in competency-centered curriculum. The core concepts are concepts with attributes such as principle , insight , transfer power , and permanent understanding . It is a concept that must be able to encompass knowledge of the content of the subject while being a core principle of the subject, and at the same time have a function as an integrated link between domains and subjects for the fusion and complex creative human image pursued by the 2015 revised curriculum. An analogy based on grammatical thinking is expected to contribute to the composition of grammatical content and at the same time serve as a link with other subjects.
