국문 초록

이 글은 포스트 코로나 시대에 드러난 한국 교회의 반사회적 현상이한국 기독교의 교회 공동체에 대한 잘못된 이해의 문제에서 비롯되었다는 인식을 기반으로 교회의 본질의 재고하며, 한국 교회의 신앙을 혁신해 나갈 방안을 모색하려는 목적을 갖는다. 이를 위해서 이 글은 독일의 나치즘에 대항하며 타락한 독일 교회의 회개와 근본적 변화를 촉구하였던 본회퍼의 신학을 주요 연구의 대상으로 선택한다. 본회퍼는 ‘비종교적 그리스도교’라는 개념을 통해 교회가 로고스 중심의 형이상학적인 신으로부터 결별하고, 대상화될 수 없는 살아계신 참 하나님을 만나야 할 것을 주장한다. 이 개념은 종교 비판, 부재하신 하나님, 그리스도로 존재하는 교회 공동체라는 본회퍼 신학에서 세 가지의 핵심적인 주제들과 연관되어 있다. 그러므로 이 글은 비종교적 그리스도교의 개념을 뒷받침하는 세 주제들을 따라가면서 본회퍼의 신학이 한국 교회의 자성과 변화를 위한 길에 어떠한 성찰을 제공해 주는지 살펴볼 것이다. 결론에서 이 글은 한국 교회는 종교화의 위험으로부터 벗어나야 하며, 비종교적 하나님에 대한 신앙으로 돌아가야 하고, 타자를 위한 교회로 거듭나야 할 것을 주장한다.

영문 초록

Based on the recognition that Korean churches’ antisocial phenomenon revealed in the post-corona era was caused by a problem of the misunderstanding of the church community of Korean Christianity, this paper aims to reclaim the nature of the church and to innovate the faith of the Korean church. To this end, this paper selects the theology of Bonhoeffer, who opposed Nazism in Germany and urged the repentance and fundamental change of the fallen German church. Bonhoeffer argues that through the concept of “nonreligious Christianity,” the church should break away from the logos-centered metaphysical God and meet the true living God that cannot be objectified. The concept of non-religious Christianity relates to three key themes in Bonhoeffer’s theology: criticism of religion, the absent God, and the church community of Christ. Following the three themes that support the concept of non-religious Christianity, this paper will figure out what kind of reflection Bonhoeffer’s theology provides for the Korean church’s reflection and a way for change. In conclusion, I argue that the Korean church should be free from the dangers of religionization, return to a non-religious faith in God, and be reborn as a church for others.
