노인 당뇨병 환자가 인식하는 주관적 건강상태와 영향요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인 당뇨병환자의 주관적 건강상태 파악과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인함으로써 노인 당뇨병환자의 건강증진 프로그램 및 중재전략을 세우는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 우리나라 노인 당뇨병환자로 2009년 국민건강영양조사 원시자료를 활용하여 분석하였으며 288명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 노인 당뇨환자가 인식한 주관적 건강상태는 3.42(±1.15)점이었으며, 주관적 건강상태는 와병일수(r=.126, p=.032), 체질량지수(r=.125, p=.034), 운동능력(r=.484, p<.001), 자기관리(r=.296, p<.001), 일상활동(r=.387, p<.001), 통증/불편(r=.449, p<.001), 불안/우울(r=.307, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 노인 당뇨병환자의 주관적 건강상태에 영향을 미치는 요인은 남성노인의 경우 통증/불편과 운동능력이었으며(F=13.497, p<.001) 여성노인의 경우 통증/불편과 일상활동으로 나타났다(F=29.145, p<.001). 이는 각각 남녀 노인 당뇨병 환자의 주관적 건강상태의 17.9%, 25.3%를 설명하고 있었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 노인 당뇨병환자의 주관적 건강상태 증진을 통한 삶의 질 개선을 위한 다각적 중재개발이 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate affecting factors on self-rated health status in the aged with diabetes in Korea. Method: A secondary data analysis was conducted using the data of “The Fourth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2009” in this study. Finally, 288 participants who the aged with diabetes were used for analysis. Selected data were processed using the SPSS 19.0 program. Results: The mean score of self-rated health was 3.42 (±1.15) and self-rated health showed statistically significant relationship with days in bed (r=.126, p=.032), body mass index (r=.125, p=.034), mobility (r=.484, p<.001), self-care (r=.296, p<.001), usual activity (r=.387, p<.001), pain/ discomfort (r=.449, p<.001), anxiety/depression (r=.307, p<.001). The predictors affecting on self-rated health were pain/discomfort and mobility (F=13.497, p<.001) in male, pain/ discomfort and usual activity (F=29.145, p<.001) in female. These two variables explained 17.9% in male, 25.3% in female of the self-rated health status in the aged with diabetes. Conclusion: This study suggested that customized intervention for the aged with diabetes should be provided to encourage their health status.
