준독립성 검정법과 동일한 독립성 검정법에 관한 연구

국문 초록

범주형 대응짝 자료가 주어진 경우 준독립성 가설은 통상 표본추출모형으로 포아송모형, 다항모형, 독립다항모형 등을 기반으로 하는 로그선형모형을 통해 검정된다. 기초통계학에서 2차원 분할표를 다룰 때 언급되는 ‘독립성’이라는 개념에 비해 ‘준독립성’이라는 개념은 설명ㆍ이해ㆍ해석이 쉽지 않아 고급 범주형자료분석 수준에서만 다루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통상의 표본추출모형들을 약간만 변형하면 변형된 표본추출모형들하에서는 기초통계학에서 설명되는 피어슨의 카이제곱 독립성 검정법이 통상의 표본추출모형들에 기반한 로그선형모형을 통한 피어슨의 카이제곱 준독립성 검정법과 완전히 일치하게 된다는 사실을 찾아 보인다. 이해를 돕기 위해 말미에 예를 통해 그 과정 및 결과들을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Traditionally a quasi-independence hypothesis on the categorical matched-pairs data is tested by using a log-linear model based on such a sampling model as Poisson, multinomial, or independent multinomial sampling models, etc. The concept of ‘quasi-independence’, compared to ‘independence’, is not easy to be explained, understood, and interpreted in a class of elementary statistics. So it can be treated in a high level class on categorical data analysis. In this paper, it is verified that if we modify the sampling model an independence test on the modified sampling model and the following contingency table is equivalent to the traditional quasi-independence test using the loglinear model based on a sampling model. For understanding the proposed test, the results of it on an example data are present in the last part.
