국문 초록

변화 동기와 준비도는 약물중독 치료의 관여, 유지 및 치료 결과의 중요한 요인들이다. 본 연구는 약물중독 치료를 받고 있는 290명의 약물의존자들을 대상으로 약물용 한국어판 변화단계 준비도 및 치료 열망 척도(K-SOCRATES-D)의 요인구조를 파악하였고 이 척도의 신뢰도와 공인타당도를 평가하였다. 요인분석 결과 회전방법에 따른 차이가 없었고 비교적 독립적인 3개의 요인, 즉 행동실천, 인식과 양가감정 요인이 추출되었다. 행동실천 요인은 단약 자기효능 척도와 인식 요인은 약물남용 선별 검사와 정적상관을 보였고, 양가감정 요인은 단약 자기효능 척도와 부적상관을 보였다. 마지막으로, 연구 결과들의 임상적 적용성과 활용성에 대해 논의하였다. 이 연구의 결과들은 임상가들이 약물중독 치료 개입 전, 후 그리고 치료 과정 중에 약물의존자들의 변화 단계 및 치료 동기 수준을 평가하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The motivation to change and readiness-to-change are important factors of engagement, maintenance, and outcomes of drug addiction treatment. The purpose of this study was to investigate factor structure the Korean version of the stages of change readiness and treatment eagerness scale (K-SOCRATES-D) for 290 drug dependents undergoing drug addiction treatment, and to assess its reliability and concurrent validity. Factor analyses yielded 3 relatively unrelated factors that were stable across rotations: taking steps, recognition, and ambivalence. Taking steps factor was found to be positive related to abstinence self-efficacy scale, and recognition factor was found to be positive related to drug abuse screening test. But ambivalence factor was found to be negative related to self-efficacy scale. Clinically, the K-SOCRATES-D is useful for the assessment of the motivation to change and readiness-to-change of drug dependents. The results of this study will be useful for clinicians to better assess the stage of change, treatment motivation for drug dependents before, during, and after the drug addiction treatments or interventions.
