국문 초록

본 연구는 2007년 제5차 한국종합사회조사(KGSS) 자료를 이용하여 한국 사회 구성원의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. ‘행복함’과 ‘행복하지 않음’의 명목척도로 구성된 ‘행복감’을 종속변수로 사용하였고, 독립변수는 크게 응답자의 ‘사회적 위치’, ‘가계 경제적 상황’, ‘종교 활동’, ‘개인의 심신 상태’, ‘삶의 만족’, ‘사회 상황’으로 구분하여 각각 하위척도로 구성하였다. 이 변수에 대해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, ‘취업여부’와 ‘혼인상태’별로 구분하여 분석을 하였다. 분석결과 기존의 연구결과와 다르게 많은 인구사회학적 요인들이 행복에 유의미한 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, ‘취업여부’와 ‘혼인상태’에 따라서 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 각각 다르게 나타났다. 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 행복에 관한 사회구조적 요인에 대해 심도 깊은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the factors which affect the euphoria of Koreans using the 5th Korean General Social Survey(KGSS) in 2007. We used “euphoria” that consists of two nominal scales-‘happiness’ and ‘unhappiness’ as the dependent variable. The independent variable is composed of several low criteria-‘status’, ‘economic conditions’, and ‘religious activity’, and ‘personal mental & physical conditions’, and ‘satisfaction’ and ‘social situation’. Logistic regression was carried out on these variables and the data were analyzed respectively sorted by whether they are employed or not and whether they are married or not. According to the analysis results, contrary to the existing study result, many population sociological factors have meaningful effects on happiness and the happiness factors appear to vary in marital and employment states. On the basis of this result, we bring to a conclusion that more in-depth studies on the social structural factors of happiness need to be put in operation.
