국문 초록

그리스도교의 영성은 ‘계시의 원리에 입각하여’ 개별적 영적 체험의 정통성을 판단한다. 그러므로 어떤 카리스마를 가진 영성이 영적 여정의 길을 제시할 때 마땅히 그 영성의 토대를 이루고 있는 계시 원리를 명확히 보여줄 수 있어야 한다. 개개인이 어떤 영성을 깊이 있게 실천한다는 것은 이 계시 원리를 더 충만하고 살아있는 것으로 체험한다는 의미이다. 성녀 파우스티나와 성 요한 바오로 2세를 통해 알려진 자비의 영성은 외형적인 측면에서 볼 때 나날이 더 널리 실천되고 있다. 하지만 이 실천이 올바른 방향으로 성장해 나갈 수 있기 위해서는 반드시 ‘자비’의 계시원리가 무엇인지 깊이 있게 파악되어야 한다. 따라서 아직 초기 단계에 머물러 있는 자비의 영성에 관한 연구의 첫번째 과제는 계시의 원천인 성경을 중심으로 ‘자비’의 계시 원리를 정립하는 것이다. 그런데 오늘날까지 ‘자비’를 주제로 한 연구의 주된 관심사는 인간에 의해 실천된 자비, 이 실천적 자비의 구체적이고 사회적인 측면이었고, 이러한 흐름 속에서 ‘하느님의 자비’는 그분께서 특별히 가난하고 약한 이들에게 마음을 기울이고 돌보시니 우리 인간들도 그러해야 한다는 초점에만 고정되어 있었다. 즉 신적 속성으로서의 ‘자비’는 단지 하느님께서 피조물들과 가지시는 외형적 관계의 획일화된 틀 안에서 그 풍성한 줄거리를 잃어버렸다. 이런 이유에서 성경적, 아니 그리스도교적 ‘자비’의 테마는 언제나 하느님의 존재로부터 출발하여 그분만의 고유한 신적 속성을 이루는 맥락에서 연구되어야지 제자리를 찾을 수 있다. 하느님 존재의 무게가 담긴 ‘자비’가 곧 그리스도교만이 가진 고유한 자비인 것이다. 본 연구는 구약 성경 안에서 특징적으로 그리고 반복적으로 보여지이는 ‘자비’의 구조와 법칙들을 분석하여 자비의 영성에 필요한 계시 원리를 구성해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The spirituality of Christianity bases the authenticity of the individual spiritual experience founded on the principle of the divine revelation. Therefore, when any powerful spirituality presents a way of spiritual journey, the principle of the divine revelation founded on the spirituality ought to be shown. The fact that individuals pratice certain spirituality in depth, means that they experience the principle of the divine revelation more fervently. From the outward aspect, the spirituality of mercy known through St. Faustina and St. John Paul Ⅱ is more widely practiced from day to day. However, to develop this practice in a right way, the principle of the divine revelation of mercy must be studied deeply. Therefore, the first task of the study on the spirituality of mercy remaining in the early stage is to found the principle of the divine revelation of mercy focusing on the scriptures which is a fundamental source of the revelation. However, the main concern of the studies on mercy have been mercy practiced by men in detail and on the social aspect. In this stream, mercy of God was only focused that as humans we should do the same as God because he takes special care of the poor and the weak. That is, mercy as a divine attribute just lost the abundant story within the uniform framework of external relationships with the creatures. For this reason, the Christian, rather than biblical theme of mercy can always find its way only if it is studied in the context where his own unique divine property is revealed starting from the existence of God. Mercy containing the weight of God s existence is just only what Christianity has. This study researches the principle of the divine revelation needed to understand the spirituality of mercy by analyzing the structures and the rules of mercy shown in the Old Testaments distinctively and repeatedly.
