국문 초록

cDNA 마이크로어레이는 슬라이드 박편에 수백 개에서부터 많게는 수만 개의 DNA 클론을 격자 구조로 심어놓은 것이고, 형광염료의 표식 및 스캔과정을 거쳐 생성된 영상으로 자료의 분석을 실시하게 된다. cDNA 마이크로어레이 영상의 분석에서 스팟 분할은 매우 중요한 전처리 과정이며 이들 스팟의 분할 결과는 다음 단계의 분석결과에 많은 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 배경과 다양한 잡음들로부터 스팟의 적합한 형태를 분할하는 방법으로 많이 사용되고 있는 가우시안 혼합 모형, 마코프 랜덤 필드 모형과 cDNA 마이크로어레이 영상분할에 처음으로 적용한 레벨 셋 방법 등 여러 가지 분할 알고리즘들을 사용하여 영상을 분할하고 이들의 성능 비교 결과를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

cDNA microarray consists of thousands of DNA clones implanted with the grid structure on slide, and the image generated from the labeling of the fluorescent dyes and the scanning is executed an analysis. The spot segmentation is a very important process in cDNA microarray image analysis, the segmentation result have a strong influence on the next step of the analysis. In this paper, we show the comparison result of performance that segments the spots from the background and the various noise using Gaussian mixture model which is frequently used to segment the image, Markov random field and Level set method which first applys to the image segmentation of cDNA microarray.
