국문 초록

본 연구는 일 지역에 거주하는 20-39세 미혼여성과 기혼여성의 유방자가검진 수행정도, 유방암에 대한 지식과 건강신념을 비교하고, 유방자가검진수행에 영향을 미치는 예측변인을 확인하는 횡단적 조사연구(cross-sectional survey design)이다. 연구결과 기혼여성의 유방자가검진수행 정도가 미혼여성에 비하여 통계적으로 높게 나타났으며, 유방암 지식은 통계적으로 차이가 없었다. 또한 건강신념에 있어서는 유방자가검진에 대한 심각성과 건강관심도가 미혼여성에 비하여 기혼여성에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높았고, 장애성은 통계적으로 낮게 나타났다. 유방자가검진 수행에 영향을 미치는 예측요인으로는 심각성, 장애성, 유익성이 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This purpose of this study was to examine the differences of BSE(Breast-Self Examination) performance and health beliefs between single and married women who lived in Busan Metropolitan area and to identify which factors influence the BSE. Method: The study subjects were recruited from both single(N=178) and married (N=143) women. Data were collected using structured self-administered questionnaires and the subjects were also asked whether or not they did a BSE in the last year? Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, x2-test and logistic regression analysis. Result: The married women who performed the BSE was statistically higher than that of single women. Regarding to the BSE-related health belief the score of seriousness and motivation was significantly higher in married women. The score of barriers was significantly higher in single women. Significant influencing factors on BSE performance were Seriousness , barriers and benefits and those variables explained 18.8% of variance in performance of BSE. Conclusion: There was a differences in BSE-related health belief and performance between single and married women. Among health belief variables, seriousness, barriers and benefits were core variables predicting the BSE performance of single and married women together.
