국문 초록

이 글은 서원대학교의 클리닉 시스템을 분석 대상으로 비교과 글쓰기·말하기 클리닉 운영 사례를 소개하고, 이를 바탕으로 현 시스템의 개선 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이는 웹 기반 비교과 클리닉을 활성화하는 한편 클리닉 시스템의 발전 방안을 강구하는 계기가 되기를 바라는 데서 출발하였다. 개별 서버를 보유하고 있는 본교에서는 동국대학교 경주캠퍼스(2014년 1.5버전)에서 개발·설계한 클리닉 시스템의 일부 기능을 수정 보완하여 사용하고 있다. 이 시스템을 활용하여 비교과 온·오프라인 클리닉을 실시한 결과, 첫째 비교과 클리닉을 위한 교수자와 학생 간 소통 통로가 따로 구축되어 있지 않은 상태에서 상담 교수자의 맞춤처방만이 제시된다는 점, 둘째 상담 신청 학생의 대부분은 완성된 글로, 1회 상담을 하는 데 그치고 있다는 점, 셋째 웹 기반 교수자의 클리닉 완료율은 매년 증가하는 반면 학생의 클리닉 확인 완료율은 매우 저조하다는 점, 넷째 온·오프라인 클리닉 시스템을 동일하게 적용하다보니 오프라인 상담의 경우 상담 원고를 탑재하지 않았을 시 상담 건수가 누락된다는 점, 다섯째 말하기 클리닉을 위한 동영상 탑재가 가능하나 용량 초과 시 동영상 탑재가 불가하다는 점 등이 문제점으로 발견되었다. 따라서 현 시스템에는 첫째 교수자 클리닉 이전 클리닉 신청 개별 학생의 요구 사항이 드러날 수 있도록 기능 추가가 필요하다. 둘째 학생 스스로 자신이 작성한 글 내역(히스토리)을 관리할 수 있도록 기능 보완을 해야 한다. 셋째 스마트폰과의 연동이 필요하다. 넷째 오프라인 상담 관련 기능을 보완하여 상담 교수자의 업무를 간소할 필요가 있다. 다섯째 말하기 클리닉을 위한 동영상의 업로드와 다운로드 시간을 단축해야 한다는 결론에 도달했다.

영문 초록

This study aims to introduce the case of extracurricular writing and speaking clinic operation for the clinic system at Seowon University and to find ways to improve the current system. This started with the hope that it would be an opportunity to revitalize the web-based extracurricular clinic and develop the clinic system. Seowon University, which has individual servers, is using some functions of the clinic system developed and designed by Dong-guk University Gyeongju Campus (version 1.5 in 2014) after they were modified and supplemented. After conducting on-line and off-line clinic counseling using this system, we found some problems. ; First, only unilateral prescriptions of counselors are presented without a communication channel between instructors and students for extracurricular clinics. Second, most students who apply for counseling are guided only once after completion of their writing. Third, while the completion rate of clinics of web-based instructors has increased every year, the completion rate of clinics of students has been very low. Fourth, although the same clinic system was applied to on-line and off-line counseling, the number of off-line counseling cases was missing when the consultation manuscript was not ready. Fifth, although it was possible to post a video for the speaking clinic, it was impossible to post a video that the exceeded capacity. Therefore, we proposed several solutions. First and most importantly, the current system needs to add functions that can determine the requirements of each student before clinic consultation. Second, students should manage their own writing history. Third, it is necessary to connect with smart phones. Fourth, it is necessary to simplify the work of counselors through improvement of offline counseling functions. Fifth, uploading and downloading time should be shortened when a speaking clinic video is loaded.
