국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로성숙도, 대학의 사회적 자본 간 직·간접적인 영향을 확인하고, 특히 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로성숙도 간의 관계에서 대학 사회적 자본의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 G지역 대학생을 대상으로 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로성숙도, 대학의 사회적 자본 검사를 실시하였으며, 총 453명의 자료 중 무응답이거나 4년제가 아닌 경우를 제외하고, 최종적으로 409개 응답을 통계·처리하였다. 문항의 신뢰도 분석을 수행하였으며, 연구대상의 일반적 사항 등은 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 변인 간 상관분석을, 가설 검증을 위해서는 구조방정식 모형(structural equation modeling: SEM)검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로성숙도에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 대학 사회적 자본이 진로성숙도에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로성숙도 간의 관계에서 대학의 사회적 자본의 매개효과가 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감이 전적으로 진로성숙도를 높이는 것이 아니라, 대학의 환경적 자원의 매개를 통해 그 영향이 나타난다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to verify the direct and indirect effects on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity and the mediating effect of the social capital of the college. In particular, it investigated the mediating effect of the social capital of the college on students, regarding the relationship between their career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. To this end, the study surveyed 453 college students in the G region, regarding their career decision-making self-efficacy, career maturity, and the social capital of their college. Among the 453 responses received, 409 were considered for analysis; no-responses and junior college students’ responses were excluded. Reliability analysis was conducted for each question. Further, analyses pertaining to frequency, descriptive statistics, and inter-variable correlation were conducted. Additionally, structural equation modeling(SEM) was conducted for hypothesis verification. The results of this study were as follows. First, college students’ career decision-making self-efficacy had a direct effect on their career maturity. Second, the social capital of their college had a direct influence on their career maturity. Finally, the social capital of the college had a mediating effect on the relationship between students’ career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. These results showed that career decision-making self-efficacy did not entirely raise career maturity, but its influence was mediated by the environmental resources of the college.
