대학 부설 과학영재교육원 초등학생들의 정서 경험 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등과학영재들의 대학 부설 영재교육원 수업에서의 나타나는 정서 경험의 특성을 분석하기 위하여, 2018년 C대학교 초등과학반 학생 30명이 작성한 24개 주제에 대한 341개의 학습결과보고서 내용 중에서 514개 문장을 분석하였다. 해당 보고서는 학생들이 매 수업이 끝난 뒤에 자신이 느낀 점과 수업에 대한 간단한 평가를 적은 것으로, 해당 진술문을 정서 경험 요소와 관련 요인으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 그들의 주요 정서 경험 요소로는 재미, 좋음, 흥미, 신기, 유능감, 즐거움, 유익, 가치, 아쉬움, 어려움이 나타났다. 이와 관련된 요인으로는 새로운 것 알기, 도전 과제, 심화, 만들기, 실험, 관련성, 친밀감, 쉬운 설명, 소극적 태도 등이었다. 이를 크게 관련 요인으로 구분하면, 학습 과제 요인(88.7%, n=456), 학생 요인(6.1%, n=31), 교사 요인(5.2%, n=27)이었다. 주요 요소로는 재미(27.6%, n=142), 좋음(21.6%, n=113), 흥미(19.8%, n=100)였으며, 주요 요인으로는 새로운 것 알기(24.9%, n=128), 실험 활동(20.6%, n=106), 도전 과제(14.8%, n=76) 등이 있었다. 이를 행렬 분석을 실시한 결과, 대학 부설 과학영재교육원의 주요한 정서 경험은 재미, 좋음, 흥미, 신기였으며, 주요 관련 요인으로 새로운 것 알기, 실험 활동, 도전 과제, 심화 학습이었다

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to analyze the characteristics of elementary school students’ emotional experience in science education center for gifted affiliated with university. 514 sentences in 341 lesson reports on 24 topics written by 30 elementary school science gifted students in science education center for gifted affiliated with C university were analyzed by emotional elements and relevant factors in lessons. The reports described students feelings and brief evaluations of the lesson. The results showed that the elements of emotional experience were fun, good, interest, curiosity, efficacy, pleasure, benefit, value, disappointment, and difficulty. Relevant factors included knowing new things, experimental activities, challenging tasks, enrichment tasks, making, relevance, intimacy, easy explanations, passiveness and so on. The main factors were related with learning task factors (88.7%, n = 456), student factors (6.1%, n = 31), and teacher factors (5.2%, n = 27). The main elements were fun (27.6%, n = 142), good (21.6%, n = 113), interest (19.8%, n = 100), and the main factors were knowing new things(24.9%, n = 128), experimental activities(20.6%, n = 106) and challenging tasks(14.8%, n = 76). As a result of matrix analysis the major emotional experiences in the center were fun, good, interest, and curiosity, the main relevant factors were knowing new things, experimental activities, challenging tasks, and enrichment learning.
