초등 영재담당교원의 영재수업에 대한 신념과 행동, 그리고 잠재적 행동 실천 효과 분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 초등 영재담당교원의 영재수업에 대한 신념과 행동, 그리고 잠재적 행동 실천 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초등 과학영재를 대상으로 영재수업을 맡고 있는 영재담당교원 154명에 대하여 영재수업에 대한 신념과 행동을 측정하는 5단계 척도의 설문(5개 범주, 17문항)을 실시하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 영재수업에 대한 신념과 행동은 모든 문항에서 신념보다 실제 행동의 실행도가 낮았다. 범주별로는 수업 분위기, 수업 운영 범주의 하위 문항이 신념과 행동이 높고, 평가 내용과 방법 범주의 하위 문항은 신념과 행동이 낮은 경향이 있었다. 신념과 행동의 일관성에서는 평가 내용과 방법에서 상대적으로 반응지수(RI) 값이 큰(-)값을 보여, 신념과 행동 사이에 괴리가 많았다. 영재수업에 대한 잠재적 행동 실천 효과에서는 수업운영의 범주가 잠재적 교육 효과가 가장 높고, 수업내용의 범주가 잠재적 교육 효과가 가장 낮았다. 연구 결과를 토대로 영재담당교원의 영재수업에 대한 신념과 행동을 증진시키고, 영재학급의 영재수업을 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the beliefs, behaviors, and potential willingness to act on the gifted class of elementary teachers in charge of gifted education. For this study, a 5-scaled questionnaire (five categories, 17 items) was administered to 154 teachers who are in charge of gifted education for elementary science gifted students. The results of the study were as follows: Beliefs and behaviors about the gifted class had lower performance than those in all items. By category, sub-items in the class environment and class management categories tended to have high beliefs and behaviors, and sub-items in the assessment content and method categories tended to have low beliefs and behaviors. In the consistency of beliefs and behaviors, there was a large gap between beliefs and behaviors due to the relatively high (-) value of the responsiveness index. In the potential willingness to act for the gifted class, the category of class management was the highest and the category of class content was the lowest. Based on the results of the study, implications to promote the gifted teachers’ beliefs and behaviors about the gifted class and to manage the gifted class effectively.
