국문 초록

3・1운동 전후 독립에 대한 인식과 독립운동을 대구지역을 중심으로 살펴보 았다. 먼저, 3・1운동 이전 독립 인식에 대해 실력양성론 노선의 서상일, 독립 전쟁론 노선의 우재룡, 친일반민족적 입장의 박중양을 통해 살펴보았다. 대체로 3・1운동에 대해 ‘미증유의 대중적 운동’ 또는 ‘전민족 총궐기의 대규모 운동’으로 이해하는 인식이 대세였다. 반면, 친일반민족적 입장에서는 3.1운동을 ‘폭거’로, 운동 참가자를 ‘흉도’로 규정하였다. 다음으로 3・1운동에 대한 인식의 연장선상에서 활동이 전개되었다. 서상일이 중심이 된 달성친목회 계열의 독립운동 자금 모금 지원과 파리장서 지원, 우재룡의 독립전쟁론에 입각한 주비단 활동 등이 전개되었다. 반면, 친일반민족 입장에서 자제단 결성을 통해 3.1운동의 확산을 방해하는 활동이 이루어졌 다. 이를 통해 1910년대 한국사회의 정치적 지형을 이해하는 데 도움이 되었 다. 또한 1920년대 이후 민족운동의 흐름을 이해하는 데 충분한 준거를 마련할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

I searched the independence movement and recognition about independence before and after 3・1 Movement focusing Daegu area. First, I examined SANGIL SEO of an ability training stance, JAERYONG WOO of an armed independence stance, JUNGYANG PARK of a pro-Japanese anti-national stance about the independence perception before the 3・1 movement. In general, the perception of the 3・1 movement was largely based on the perception that it was understood as the ‘unprecedented people movement’ or ‘mass movement of the whole nation’. On the other hand, in the・pro-Japanese anti-national viewpoint, the 3・ 1 movement was defined as ”violence” and the participants of the exercise were defined as ”rioters”. Next, the activities were developed on the extension line of perception about the 3・1 movement. Dalseong social gathering that SANGIL SEO led supported the collection of independence campaign funds and Paris collection, and JAERYONG WOO developed the activities of Jubidan independence based on independence war view. On the other hand, activities to prevent the spread of the 3・1 movement have been made through the Refrain club in the pro-Japanese anti-national stance. This helped to understand the political topography of Korean society in the 1910s. In addition, I was able to establish a sufficient standard to understand the trend of the national movement since the 1920s.
