한국어 겹목적어 구문에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 한국어 목적어와 관련한 쟁점들 중에서 겹목적어 구문에 대하여, 입말과 글말의 문법 차이를 반영하여 고찰하고자 한다. 앞선 연구에서는 겹목적어 구문이 한국어에서 일반적으로 실현되는 문장이라는 전제 하에서 논의가 이루어졌다. 그런데 세종말뭉치와 같은 실제 자료를 검색했을 때, 겹목적어 구문은 입말[구어] 말뭉치에서는 확인할 수있으나, 글말[문어] 말뭉치에서는 검색되지 않는다. 세종말뭉치가 한국어 전체를 대변한 다고 하기는 어렵지만, 말뭉치 규모가 어느 정도가 된다고 보았을 때, 겹목적어 구문이 한국어에서 보편적인 문법 현상이라고 할 수 있을 것인지에 대한 검토에 대한 필요성은 분명히 확인할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 한국어 겹목적어가 입말 말뭉치에서 확인된다는 사실에 주목한다. 그것은 노대규(1996), 안찬원(2018) 등의 앞선 연구에서 논의한 바와 같이 입말과 글말이 문법에서 분명한 차이가 있기 때문이다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 입말과 글말의 차이가 한국어 문법에 반영되었을 때, 문장성분의 겹침, 피동과 사동의 범위, 동사토의 통사적 특성과 같은 현재 논의 중에 있는 한국어 문법의 많은 부분이 해결될 수 있을 것이라 기대하고, 그런 관점에서 겹목적어 구문에 대해 고찰하고자 한다겹목적어 구문은 어떤 양상을 보이는지에 대해 검토한다. 앞선 연구들은 겹목적어 구문이 대부분 글말에서 실현되는 것임을 전제로 논의가 이루어진 것이기 때문에, 만약 입말에서 실현되는 것이라면 겹목적어와 관련한 논의는 그 출발에서 다시 검토할 필요가 있을 것이기 때문이다. 다음으로 겹목적어 구문에서 ‘NP1를1’, ‘NP2를2’의 통사적 기능을 고찰하고자 한다. 여기에는 겹목적어 구문과 각각 대응하는 것으로 논의되어 온 문장들의 관계와 통사적 차이에 대한 검토가 포함될 것이다. 이러한 논의를 통해 한국어 겹목적어 구문이 주로 입말에서 실현되는 현상이며, ‘입말’ 이라는 상황에서 말할이가 생각이 추가되거나 혹은 구체화되는 과정에서 선행된 목적어와 관련된 것일 때 문장에서 목적어로 실현되어 이중목적어, 혹은 겹목적어 구문으로 실현됨을 살필 것이다.

영문 초록

This study will reflect the difference in grammar between the written language and the spoken language for the multiple objects of the issues related to the Korean object. In the previous study, discussions were held on the premise that the multiple object phrases are generally realized in Korean written language. However, when searching for actual data such as Sejong corpus, the multiple objects phrases can be found in spoken corpus, but they are not found in written corpus. It is difficult to say that the Sejong corpus represents the whole Korean language, but the necessity of reviewing whether the multi-object syntax can be said to be a universal grammatical phenomenon in Korean can be clearly confirmed. In this study, we note that Korean multiple objects phrases are identified in the spoken corpus. This is because, as discussed in previous studies such as Roh Dae-gyu (1996), Ahn Chan-won (2018), spoken languase and written language are clearly different in grammar. When the differences between these spoken and written language are reflected in Korean grammar, this study expects that many parts of the Korean grammar currently under discussion, such as the overlap of sentence components, the range of passive, and the syntactic characteristics of infl-suffix, can be solved. So I would like to consider the syntax of the multiple object from that point of view. For this discussion, the study first examines the grammar differences between spoken language and written language, and examines how the syntax is in the double object. Since previous studies have been discussed on the premise that most of the multi-object syntax is realized in written language, if it is realized in spoken language, discussions on the multi-object phrases need to be reviewed at the beginning. Next, I would like to examine the syntactic functions of NP1 1 and NP2 2 in the multple iobject phrase. This will include the review of the relationship between sentences and syntactic differences that have been discussed as corresponding to the syntax of the multiple object. Through these discussions, we will see that the Korean multiple object phrase is a phenomenon that is realized mainly in spoken language. And when the speaker is related to the object that is preceded in the process of adding or embodying the idea in the situation of spoken language, it will be realized as the object in the sentence and realized as a multiple object phrase.
