국문 초록

원자력발전소 격납건물 내부의 콘크리트 표면은 화재, 온도, 습도 등의 영향으로 인한 열화 가능성 방지 및 제염용이성 등의 사유로 방호도장이 되어 있다. 특히 격납건물 내부는 설계기준사고(Design Basis Accident) 발생 시 도장의 탈락 등을 방지하고, 결함으로 인한 도장 손상시에 보수도장 사용 후 적정성과 건전성을 유지해야한다. 지금까지는 콘크리트 시편에 대한 방호도장재 시험은 ASTM D5139에 명시된 제2종 중용열 포틀랜드 시멘트(Moderate Heat Portland type II)를 사용하여 시험해 왔다. 하지만 2종 시멘트는 현재 생산 및 사용이 극히 제한되어 있어 시험편을 제작하기 어려운 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 널리 사용되고 있는 제1종 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트(Normal portland cement type I)을 사용한 콘크리트 시편을 제작하고, 방호도장재를 시편에 도장하여 시험하였다. 이를 위해 열화시험, 방사선조사시험, 부착력시험, 설계기준사고시험을 통해 콘크리트 방호도장재의 개발을 원활히 하고자 제1종 시멘트 재질의 콘크리트 시편을 개발하였다.

영문 초록

Concrete surfaces inside containment buildings in nuclear power plants are painted with a protective coating to prevent deterioration due to the influence of fire, temperature, and humidity, and for ease of decontamination. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the degrading of the coating inside the containment building when design basis accidents occur and to maintain the adequacy and integrity of the coating in case of damages due to defects after repairing the coating. Until now, the protective coating materials for concrete specimens have been tested using the Moderate Heat Portland Cement Type II specified in ASTM D5139. However, it is difficult to produce specimens, as Cement Type II cement is currently extremely limited in production and use. In this study, concrete specimens were prepared using Normal Portland Cement Type I, which is widely used in Korea, and the specimens were coated with protective coatings and tested. Concrete specimens of Cement Type 1 were developed to facilitate the development of concrete protective coating materials through degradation tests, irradiation tests, adhesion tests, and design basis accident tests.
