HPFRCC로 보강한 조적조 벽체의 면외방향 내진성능에 관한 해석적 연구

국문 초록

국내의 다양한 지역에서 크고 작은 지진이 빈번히 발생하면서 횡력에 매우 취약한 비보강 조적조 건축물의 내진보강이 매우 시급한 과제로 부상하였다. 기존의 다양한 내진보강공법이 있으나 경제성, 시공성, 내진성능 측면에서 좀 더 향상된 기술이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 High-Performance Fiber-Reinforced Cementitious Composite (HPFRCC)를 활용한 조적조벽체의 내진보강 방법에 주목하였다. 기존의 고인성 시멘트 복합체 보다 인장강도와 인장변형성능이 향상된 HPFRCC로 보강된 조적조 벽체의 면외방향 내진성능을 유한요소해석을 통해 평가하였다. 이를 위해 범용 유한요소해석 프로그램 ABAQUS를 활용하여 해석 모델을 수립하고 진동대 실험결과와 비교하여 해석 방법의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 그 후 HPFRCC의 보강면(단면, 양면)과 보강두께(10 mm, 20 mm) 등을 변수로 해석적 연구를 수행하였다. 조적조 벽체의 가속도와 변위 등을 분석한 결과, 조적조 벽체의 면외방향 내진성능에 대한 HPFRCC의 긍정적 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, HPFRCC를 벽체의 양면에 보강할 경우 내진성능이 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Frequent earthquake occurrences in various regions of Korea have highlighted the urgent need that exists for the seismic retrofitting of unreinforced masonry buildings, which are particularly vulnerable to lateral forces. In this study, the out-of-plane seismic performance of masonry walls reinforced with high-performance fiber-reinforced cementitious composites (HPFRCCs) was evaluated using finite element analysis. ABAQUS was used to establish the analysis model, and the reliability of the model was validated by comparing the model results with shaking table test results. A parametric study of the reinforced masonry walls was thereafter conducted using the parameters of the reinforced sides of the walls (unilateral and bilateral) and thicknesses (10 and 20 mm). The analysis of the acceleration and displacement of the masonry walls revealed the beneficial effects of HPFRCCs on the out-of-plane seismic performance of the walls. The seismic performance of the walls was significantly enhanced when the HPFRCCs were applied to both sides of the walls.
