국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아버지의 양육참여도와 학업적 자기효능감 및 성공지능과의 관 계와 영향력을 분석함으로써 아동이 가정이나 학교, 사회에서 유능한 구성원으로 성 장해 나갈 수 있도록 교육적 시사점을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 위 해 초등학생 5, 6학년 350명을 대상으로 아동이 지각한 아버지의 양육참여도와 학업 적 자기효능감 및 성공지능과의 관계를 살펴보고, 아동이 지각한 아버지의 양육참여 도가 학업적 자기효능감과 성공지능에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보았다. 연구 의 결과에 따르면 첫째, 아동이 지각한 아버지의 양육참여도, 학업적 자기효능감, 성 공지능 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동이 지각한 아 버지의 양육참여도의 하위요인 중 생활지도와 여가생활이 학업적 자기효능감을 유 의미하게 설명하였다. 셋째, 아동이 지각한 아버지의 양육참여도는 성공지능 하위요 인 중 생활지도가 성공지능을 유의미하게 설명하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 아동의 정서적, 인지적 발달에 있어서 아버지의 양육이 중요하며, 아버지는 물론, 가족 및 사회구성원들이 아버지 역할에 대한 새로운 인식을 가져야 하고, 부모교육 프로그램 이나 방송 프로그램 등에 아버지를 적극적으로 참여시키는 방법이 모색되어져야 하 겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between not only father s child rearing and academic self-efficacy, but also successful intelligence. Based of this purpose, the key questions to define are as follows. The object of this study was 350 5th and 6th graders who attend elementary schools in Busan. The results from this study were as follows: First, the higher father s child rearing involvement perceived by children, the higher academic self-efficacy and successful intelligence. Second, father s child rearing involvement perceived by children affect children s academic self-efficacy meaningfully. Third, father s child rearing involvement perceived by children affect children s successful intelligence meaningfully. This study shows father s child rearing involvement is associated with children s academic self-efficacy and successful intelligence. Especially it shows that the higher the rate of father s taking part in spare time and mentoring his children s life, the higher children s academic self-efficacy and successful intelligence. This study suggests that father s child rearing involvement is important and the father s role is as important as the mother s role for the emotional and cognitive development of children.
