학습자중심교육을 위한 교사역량요소 도출 및 예비교사와 현직교사의 인식 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습자중심교육을 수행하기 위해 필요한 교수역량을 구성하는 요소들 을 도출, 타당화하여 구명하고, 이 교수역량요소들에 대한 현직교사와 예비교사들의 인식을 비교ㆍ분석함으로써 향후 현직교사재교육 및 예비교사 교육 시 학습자중심 교육을 위한 교수역량개발 방법에 시사점을 얻고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 학습자중심 교육을 위한 교수역량요소 도출을 위해 IBSTPI의 역량 개발 모델 및 국내외의 연구 들이 분석되었고, 교육공학 전문가 2명, 현직교사 5명이 교수역량의 도출과 타당화 과정에 참여하였다. 연구결과 학습자중심교육을 위한 교수역량은 교사의 태도, 교과 및 교수법에 대한 지식, 의사소통(경청ㆍ칭찬ㆍ질문), 수업운영 및 평가 등 4개 영역 30개의 하위요소를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 역량요소에 대한 현직교사와 예비 교사들의 인식을 조사한 결과 현직교사와 예비교사들은 모두 도출된 역량에 대해 매 우 중요하다고 인식하였으나, 실제로 실천하고 있는 실행도는 그리 높지 않다는 반 응을 보였다. 두 집단의 인식을 비교한 결과 학습자중심교육을 위한 교수역량의 중 요도에 대한 인식에는 의미있는 차이가 없었고, 실행도에 대한 인식에서는 현직교사 가 예비교사보다는 높은 점수를 보여 의미있는 차이가 있었다. 연구결과는 향후 교사재 교육, 예비교사교육을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 운영의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to draw, research, and check the validity of components of teaching competencies which are needed for learner-centered education, and to find the implications on the way of developing teaching competencies by comparing and analyzing the thoughts of pre-service and in-service teachers about these competencies when they are educated or reeducated. To draw the constituents of teaching competencies for learner-centered education, related literature reviews and analysis of the teaching competence developing model, IBSTPI were conducted and two specialists in educational technology and five middle and high school teachers joined in drawing and checking the validity of teaching competencies. As a result of this study, there are four components such as i) teacher s attitude, ii) knowledge for subjects and teaching method, iii) communication(listening, praising and questioning) and, iv) class management and evaluation, followed by 30 subcomponents. The research shows that both pre-service and in-service teachers thought that the teaching competencies which are drawn from this study are important but they didn t practice them much. The result of comparing the two group s thoughts about teaching competencies, there is no meaningful difference in understanding the importance of teaching competencies, but there is significant difference in practicing them: in-service teachers showed higher points than pre-service teachers. This study can be used as a basic material for developing and conducting programs of in-service teachers reeducation and pre-service teacher s training.
