초등학교 교사의 교육과정 관점과 효과적인 수업행동에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 교사들의 교육과정 관점과 효과적인 수업행동의 경향성을 분 석함으로써, 초등학교 교사들의 교육과정 전문성 및 수업 전문성 향상에 관한 교사 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정 관점 선호도 검사 결과, 초등학교 교사들은 5가지 교육과정 관점 중에서 경험주의와 항존주의 관점에서 점수가 높게 나타났으나, 5가지 관점에 대한 점수의 편차가 크지 않았다. 한편 초등학교 교사의 교육과정 관점 선호도는 2개 이 상의 교육과정 관점, 경험주의, 항존주의 순이었다. 둘째, 교사 배경변인에 따라 초등 학교 교사들의 교육과정 관점과 교육과정 관점 선호도의 차이를 분석한 결과, 교사 연령 변인에서 유의한 차이가 발견되었다. 셋째, 효과적인 수업행동에 관한 초등학 교 교사의 전반적인 성향은 명료화, 격려, 다양성, 과제지향성의 순이었다. 넷째, 교 사 배경변인에 따라 초등학교 교사들의 효과적인 수업행동의 차이를 분석한 결과, 교직경력과 담당학년 변인에서 유의한 차이가 발견되었다. 한편 5년 미만의 초임교 사는 4가지 수업행동에 대한 점수가 모두 낮았다. 다섯째, 초등학교 교사의 항존주 의, 이상주의, 사실주의, 경험주의 교육과정 관점과 명료화 수업행동에서는 상관이 있었으나, 다른 변인들 간에는 상관이 낮았다. 한편 초등학교 교사들의 교육과정 선 호도와 효과적인 수업행동과의 관계는 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구결과에 의하면, 초등학교 교사의 교육과정 전문성, 수업전문성 신장을 위 한 교사교육 프로그램은 교육과정 관점과 효과적인 수업행동에 대한 초등학교 교사 의 전체적인 성향, 연령, 교직경력, 담당학년 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 개발되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to investigate the orientation on curriculum of elementary school teachers, effective teaching behavior, and the correlation between their curriculum orientation and effective teaching behavior. A questionnaire was carried out with 356 elementary teachers, and 296 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, elementary teachers represent a comprehensive view of the five curriculum orientation, but experimentalism was much higher than the others. A teacher s age variable significantly affected his/her perennialism, idealism, realism of curriculum orientation(p<.05). Second, elementary teachers represent was lesson clarity, student support, instructional variety, and task orientation in order. It was significantly affected teacher s career, and responsible for grade variable. The gender of teacher significantly affected his/her effective teaching behavior of student support. Teacher career significantly affected his/her effective teaching behavior of lesson clarity and instructional variety. A responsible for grade significantly affected his/her effective teaching behavior of lesson clarity. instructional variety and task orientation. Third, a teacher s curriculum orientation was related to effective teaching behavior. Perennialism, idealism, realism, experimentalism were related to clarity. In conclusion, teachers represent a comprehensive view of the curriculum orientation and also teaching effective behavior. And teachers curriculum orientation relates to effective teaching behavior. Therefore, staff development programs which based on teachers curriculum orientation and teaching behavior have to develop and provide.
