중등교사의 자기표현과 직무만족의 관계에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 중등교사의 자기표현과 직무만족의 관계에 대한 적응적 인지적 정서조 절의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울 및 경기지역의 중·고등학교에 근무하고 있는 교사 333명(남 116명, 여 217명)을 연구대상으로 하여, 자기표현 척도 (Self Expression Scale: SES), 인지적 정서조절 질문지(Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire: CERQ), 직무만족 척도(Korea Teacher Opinionnaire: KTO)를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 측정 변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였고, 변인간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 단순회귀분석을 실시하 였으며, 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기표현과 직무만족은 각각 적응적 인지적 정서조절과 정적 상관 이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 자기표현과 직무만족 간의 관계에서도 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기표현은 직무만족을 유의미하게 예측 하였다. 셋째, 적응적 인지적 정서조절도 직무만족을 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자기표 현과 직무만족 사이에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절은 조절효과를 보였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 교사를 대상으로 하는 상담 및 교사연수에서 적응적인 방법의 인지적 정 서조절의 사용을 높일 수 있는 개입의 필요성을 제언하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we investigate the moderating effect of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation on the relationship of self-expression and job satisfaction of secondary school teachers. 333 teachers(male; 116, female; 217) in middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi area were participated in this study. Self-expression scale(SES), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), Job Satisfaction Scale (KTO) were used as measurement tools. The collected data were subjected to correlation analysis to determine the general tendencies of the measured variables. Also, simple regression analyses were carried out to determine the relationships between variables. and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, self-expression and job satisfaction were positively correlated with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation and also the relationship between self-expression and job satisfaction were found to be positively correlated. Second, self-expression significantly predicted job satisfaction. Third, adaptive cognitive emotion regulation was also found to significantly predict job satisfaction. Fourth, adaptive cognitive emotion regulation between self-expression and job satisfaction showed the moderating effect. This results suggested the need for interventions to increase the use of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation through counseling and training for teachers.
