국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생을 대상으로 스마트폰 중독 예방을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 프로그램의 구안은 박인우(1995)의 체제적 상담 프로그램 개발 모형의 과정을 거쳤으며, 이론전문가와 현장전 문가의 자문을 바탕으로 수정․보완하였다. 최종 프로그램은 총12회기로 구성되었으며 구안된 프로그램을 초등학교 5학년에게 실시한 결과 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 일상생활 장애, 금단, 내성, 가상세계지향성에 있어 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 스마트폰 중독예방을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증함으로써 학교현장에서 스마트폰 중독을 예방하는데 활용할 수 있는 자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a group counseling program for elementary school in higher grades to prevent smart-phones addiction. The group counseling program was composed of a total of 12 sessions. The testing tool for the study was the self-diagnosis tool for juvenile smart-phone addiction developed by National Information Society Agency of Korea (2011.) The data collected from the experiments were processed using SPSS/Windows 18.0 software and the Mixed ANOVA method. The finding from this study could be summarized as follows; Firstly, the test group who participated in a group counseling program to prevent the smart-phone addiction for elementary school students showed a significant difference over the control group who did not participate in such a program. Secondly, the sub-domains of the behavioral characteristics of the smart phone addiction, such as having difficulties with everyday tasks, withdrawal symptoms, tolerance, and the virtual-world orientation, showed a significant difference between the test group and the control group which did not participate in the program in the baseline and follow-up tests. The implication of this study is that, in order to prevent the smart-phone addiction of the elementary school students, their needs were analyzed to develop a program that reflects the developmental stages of the students, and that this program could practically be used in managing an elementary school class.
